As a lifelong Deadhead, and somewhat of Phish neophyte, I think what they are playing is by far the best of the genre. There's so much life in this music! Trust me, enjoy it while it's still happening! They'll be plenty of time down the road to do the documentary decade v. decade debate!

I agree with Ben, as a musician the way I play any instrument or write music is completely different now than it was 5 years ago and it was different then than when I first started. Some people will stick to a singular style or genre, but for a lot of people who are interested in a lot of different types of music and styles of playing, only sticking to one gets old(even if that one "style" is really a combination of a bunch of others).

kinda wish they stuck to the promise that every Timber would end like that... i feel betrayed. Nah, for real this was my favorite of the 3 nights, besides the night befores Lighteca, this was an unofficial mini-festival for anyone who did go - the ferris wheel was in full effect - couldnt ride it tho. Air Force Base + Ferris Wheel led me to beleive this was supposed to be a festival but it didnt pan out, it was also in the middle of tour and they always end with a festival so yeah, i dunno. cant wait to be back in A.C for the three 2021 shows ON THE BEACH.
