Damn. 4.0 kicks ass and I don't care what anyone says about it!! Pushing the boundaries of who they are as a band, really starting to transform their identify without losing touch with who they once were (if that makes sense)...35 years later. The sounds are unique and distinctive to 2022. I absolutely love it and grateful to be around for it.

This may have been one of the most intensely sublime moments I’ve ever witnessed at a Phish show over 30 yrs, just a totally unexpected bath of sound hitting me full steam, with the wind off the ocean and the birds and lights. I was pretty sober, no more than a few pulls on a pre-roll, but it still took me for a serious ride. You can get some of the vibe through the video but holy shit it was intense if you were there. Chills.

It's the Beatles sound combining with Phish. Very underrated song and I love to see less played songs get a jam treatment. So silky smooth with the Bug like solo. I see this song evolving like Sigma Oasis has recently. Just incredible space and ambient groove from like 11 mins on especially. Love this kind of jam.

1.0 or 2.0 etc refers to different eras of the bands live performances, 1.0 ended after 2000 when they took a break, 2.0 ended in 2004 when they stopped playing till 2009, which was then 3.0, it's silly nonsense, Phish is Phish

4.0 began after The Baker’s Dozen with the following New Year’s Run, declared “The Triumphant Return of Phish.” That was the conclusion of the 2017 season.
