Regular Fee 0 - 5:30, gradual mind expansion Fee 5:30 to 8, over the top Fee 8 - 20 with 1999 whale calls. 20 to end wind it down Fee.

IT bounces around the room nice it would go into BATR very well and that song is so catchy but overplayed i rarely want that alligator mouth but this jam is fun and bouncy and builds very slowly . . .at 20 minute jam on Fee is unheard of . . .I didnt even know there was one. Ive heard 10 min versions . . .I love the 6-7-09 version even though lyrically flubbed I liked the 2-14-2003 Cali but this one takes the chimpanzee banana bread cake

"Great" is a stretch. The last great tour I saw was Fall 98.

I suppose Big Cypress was not "great?" By what metric?

Or Camp Oswego? Great Woods? Holmdel? Star Lake? Polaris? Fuck, Toronto?

I remember rain at Bonner Springs and then the next night in Antioch they shut it down early due to lightning. This tour was the beginning of Phish's demise. Sloppy, uninspired playing. The days of constent practicing and discipline were out..enter too many drugs.

gotta disagree. some great shows in '99.

Trey was a psycadelic warlock in the 90’s, bro. P. Fish ruled that decade with an iron fist. Name me one band that put in more work. So, what, they peaked out in the late nineties?! So it is. I saw them in the late nineties. It seemed like they were showing off, and having fun. And WE ALL were. SCREAMING muhphuccan peaks, ambient grooves, funk, high energy rock n roll, epic soul jams, you name it. 90’s Phish is what all others from that decade should be compared. They were, for the most part, night after fucking night, locked in TIGHT. And, for about a ten year run, keeping it fresh and rejuvenated?! Compare that to ANYTHING that was going on at the time, as far as live rock. Mike Tyson comes to mind.

...dedication to their crafts and the 'product' suffered. Trey was uninterested and no longer disciplined when it came to improving as a guitarist. Money and drugs will do that you.
