notes within overdrive activation sections (when the note highway lits up green) do not count towards your score even if drum fills are disabled. you can even miss notes within the section and you would not lose your note streak.

@@2007excalibur2007 I'm pretty sure you still lose combo, but static fills are the best score, so you have to use them when attacking score. The score isn't added until you finish the fill, however, and it's always the same amount regardless of notes in the fill.

@@bubba200874426 how do you explain being able to overhit notes in the fill and not losing streak then? :p static fills literally sit in the exact same places as freestyle fills, aka whereever they are defined in the chart. they both function the same, just some people prefer not having to hear RB's drum samples over the drum stem and continue drumming along the original notes on the chart.
