I was Mike's side for every set that weekend and for most sets I had a similar vantage point to notmkdevo. I was pretty disappointed with how Mike sounded on the soundboard recording. This is the first audio that I have heard from Magnaball that captures the envrionment and Mike at his best. Thanks notmk

Mike is so most solid and consistent member of the band in 3.0 for sure. Page has definitely taken over as the best lead. Fishman is tight as, he's always been. Trey shines all the time, but not trying to overtakes the shows like he did in 1.0. He's playing is better. Not machine gun Trey like it used to be. Buy now that the bend isn't just centered sins Tey's solos. There's just so much more texture to the band. And the type 2 playing is so much better. Especially mikes and pages. They don't do marching gun jams much anymore. But it's now truly a band of equals.

Yup was there and it's almost as if the sound is better than it was live :) Prince Caspian went from meh to OMFG in 17 minutes that night. To this day none compares but there was a good one in summer 2023 cant remember was show

Without a doubt 1 of my top 10 jams of all time (counting Tweezer & Caspian as one)!!! My favorite tour & time to be a Phan was 1997-1999, so a lot of my favorite jams are from that time (AC/DC Bag from MSG 12/30/1997 as an example) & tours! That being said, you cannot deny the total drenching we took for 35 minutes that day!

Joe Hirn yea 20:29-23:40 is badass. that and the drop back into tweezer through the ending are the best parts of the jam to me. when they drop back into tweezer it starts getting floppy as fuck. bass bombs everywhere.

+Gumbo72203 Well, those totems don't seem too bad; at least they're thin. But a decked out beach umbrella held aloft for the entire show was pretty annoying. The only redeeming thing was that the umbrella was shelled with about 10,000 glow sticks throughout the show. That was hilarious.

they arnt a new thing at phish shows... they are at must festivals and the idea behind them it's when you are with a big group of friends you can find them easily amongst the lag crowd. I'm not a huge fan of them but the are useful when I try to locate my friends.
