Holy smokes. My wife saw our elderly landlord outside the store asking how much money can she make gift cards there. Upon further inquiry, she could actually hear the scammer saying "Do not tell her what this is about." and "Do not tell her you are on the phone with me." My wife reached over, snagged her phone and just hung up. Of coarse they called back to back until she answered and told 'em to F off. After talking with her it was FOR SURE a scam, saying they were with visa. It took us 30 mins to convince her it was a scam. They really had her going. We asked the store clerk if people have come in with requests like her before "All the time and they're always on the phone." was her response. This week we are going store to store and educating these shops with your vids. You are doing God's work Pierogi!

This is mostly my son’s account but I wanted to thank you! I got an email about my PayPal account and called the number. The minute he started talking I knew it was a scam because of your videos. I told the guy “I watch Pierogi! You’re a scammer” He said “Uh…” and hung up. I guess he took me off his list because I haven’t received any more emails or calls! Thank you for all that you do!

You’ve given me the confidence to actually call the numbers and do everything I can to keep them on the phone without allowing access to my cell or my computer. I’m good for generally 20-30 minutes. That’s 20-30 minutes they’re not trying to scam someone else. It also helps that I’m actually an older woman and don’t have to disguise my voice. I just play it old and senile.

Yeah I'm not sure if he's overstating how involved the "feds" are. It's hard to tell. He shows an unprofessional-looking photoshopped email "from the feds" at 11:11. And his video titles are often click-baity, so that also tarnishes his credibility (like his video titled "Entire scammer call center watches me scam them!" when they were actually just watching one of his old videos after getting suspicious of his voice on the phone).

They tried to scam me, luckily God was on my side, and they got nothing. They told me someone opened 23 Bank accounts in my name, through my tax file number. And they asked me to verify my tax file number. I said, I had no idea what it was. And I said, you mean they put my $20 in, 23 accounts?

He has done in the past, and it's likely they're sharing information behind the scenes. A lot of what Pierogi does can't be shown otherwise it has a chance at putting any legal cases in jeopardy. Pierogi has also worked with Mark Rober in the past. He also worked with Trilogy Media, returning money to Susan I believe her name was. Jim Browning has always been more covert, but with how Scammer Payback operates as a business he NEEDS to churn out public videos and have the streams. Easy to forget this is their day jobs, not just a hobby haha. They definitely communicate frequently so they don't trip over eachothers toes, certain numbers won't be called etc. They also have to keep themselves safe. Kit always had the shades on for the longest time, now he relaxes a little and sometimes takes them off. Jim doesn't have his face anywhere near his channel etc. We know Pierogi has a wife and kid. Art and Ashton are at the point where they should never set foot in India again, they're at the point where they need to make sure their homes can't be found, doubt the scammer bosses will flinch at throwing hit money around. Don't ask why I went on this tangent, it just kinda hit me how dangerous this can be for them but they're all still doing it. We know the larger scam baiters have boots on the ground in India too, and that's a whole other story that probably doesn't all work out as nice as we want it to.

@@Nolascana Browing, Rober, and Trilogy Media managed to get a site raided recently, in the past few days. Rober has the details on his channel. The scammers are feeling the heat, and every little bit is helping. Pierogi might have found a call centre still freaking out over what happened.

The problem is finding police that haven't been bought out, and finding those willing to investigate past the legitimate side to the business. The government let's them be if they can provide 'proof' they're doing no wrong. This video or not a lot of them get on edge after a while and it's either because they sense a scam baiter or because there have been raids in the area, which Pierogi is often aware of. The recent large collaboration should be enough to put at least newer scams from starting up as shut down most of them for a number of days. Any progress is good progress. Just hope it remains safe enough for them all to keep doing.

I joined your group so I could help assist. It's only 10 bucks a month and I'm going to upgrade to 50 when I get a couple loans paid off. Best money I could spend is helping you (just wish I could do more) everyone that is tired of these robocallers should give you cpl bucks or more a month imho. It's terrible for older people because they kinda become isolated like they can't go so much anymore as some have to go to doctors weekly or monthly the dr tells they can't miss their appointments and they have to keep track of all their prescriptions, more insurence and driving is ten times faster than they care to drive if they still are able to drive ...and worse of all who wants to die in a nursing home when you're memories are where you lived ..

Love what you’re doing. I got a scam call for Publishers Clearing House - told me I had won a Mercedes Benz & 4 million dollars, all I had to do was to pay a processing fee of $8K so I played with them using my “grannie voice” & he fell for it. I went as far as telling him I was getting into my car to go to CVS to get a “Vanilla Card” which is a Visa prepaid card. Then my husband was talking in the.background. I wasted about 45 minutes of their time after my husband cut in and asked why are they scamming people? Replied ? Cussing & hung up. Hate these bad bad people. Thanks again for sticking it to them.

I was scammed through a Craigslist roommate ad & discover half way through something felt weird, so I googled it and found information on how those kind of scams work, and it saved me from losing an additional $1200. Some random person with a heavy Indian accent called me today about a collections agency. Had no social skills or spoke English too well. Couldn't even pronounce "his company's" name 🤦🏽‍♂️ Immediately came to watch some scam bait videos lol. Sad that they actually trick such a large amount of people. Understandably most of their victims are older populations. I'm very glad for the work you and other scam fighters do.

I'm an Uber driver and frequently I pick up rides that end up just being fakes and the "passenger" calls to pretend to be Uber support and try to get you to give them your login so they can take your money. Every time they call me, no hesitation I yell "This is a FUCKING SCAM!" And hang up lol but I wish there was a way we could get back at them, seeing as actual Uber support seems to have no idea how to take care of these people. If you manage to expand into taking out Uber scammers, I would love to see them sweat! Keep up the great work, Pierogi!

I suggest using prop money for these packages, looks real from a distance and will fool most people who glace at it. If a scammer requests a photo of the money, you could just place a real bank note on top of the stack of prop money.

Sure would be nice to re-direct the calls into the scam center, to a line where you could inform the person of the scam they called. IP spoofing and re-directing should be doable to prevent calls from going into the scam center. Love your work! Keep it up!

at 15 minutes that was definitely that boss guy Perogi was trying to ask for... His voice was a lot deeper and he was not nearly as hot headed. In fact he seemed confrontational as if he was trying to put on a front he was not scared by showing he was willing to hear you and respond to you without flipping out like most of the scam grunts do. It shows just how afraid they are to actually acknowledge Perogi like that rather than ignoring him as if he was an insignificant problem. GJ on getting to them to say the least.

Have you tried going after social security scammers? I got a call the other day and he addressed himself as “officer” and I replied to them “and let me guess you want my information so you can scam me out of money” he hung up without saying anything further!! I’d love to see you take on a social security or Medicare scammers. I’m worried about those who may think it’s legitimate and use a lot of money. I hope you will consider a social security scammer.. I actually still have the number they called me from a South Dakota number

Those are the best to string along lol. I love trying to keep them on the phone as long as possible. I have no idea how they get our information, but it’s really fun to fu*k with them. It never ceases to amaze me the level of emotion these scammers operate on. They don't use any intellect at all - they run on pure emotion, like an animal running on pure instinct. It's so bizarre to me.
