Nice list! I've been working on Jeskai Control too, there are so many ways to build the deck, still trying to figure out what the optimal configuration is. Would love to see a BO3 video from you in the future!

@@GeckoS-gaming yes i agree the idea of counterspells with Phlage can go into so many decks. And I feel like best of 1 is better fir videos since it lets you guys see more matchups but I'm happy to do some bo3 every here and there ;)

I'm so curious to see if they will ever make a White/black titan, a blue/black titan or a white/blue titan. Esper is the ultimate combination for control decks, no others could compare with that for control decks. I'm looking forward to play that.

I've been trying to pilot this deck but there was always something missing. It was the leyines with the those cycling lands, they're so good.

yeah i came to exactly that conclusion! in my 1st version I would often lose to show and tell or oko gaining too much loyalty and leylines just answer those so cleanly.

@@ControlGuyMTG yeah planeswalker were a problem before, not anymore. I didn't even think about how you could use the leyines against show and tell, just abuse it and bust it out at the same time as their omniscience.

@@PatrickMartinez1 it works most of the time but it's risky because they can still cast instants with the leyline trigger on the stack so the can win if they have Borne upon a wind.

Do you think that Wrath of the Skies is better than Supreme Verdict, as I noticed you’re playing two of each? If not, then it might just be worth cutting the energy package as Tune the Narrative is sort of a dead card and it could allow you to play other cards like the War of the Spark Teferi or, instead of Galvanic Discharge, Lightning Bolt or other removal like Path to Exile. Maybe even Leyline of Sanctity? Also, if you’re playing Phlage and the Ring, maybe Stifle could be good?

@@jeromephelps5959 There is definitely a lot of variation to this shell, I'm currently on a build with 4 wrath of the sky, 1 verdict and 3 one rings. Wrath is way better than verdict against the boros energy deck and up the beanstalk but i also tested a version with only 4 verdicts and no energy and small teferi the cool thing about that build is that all those cards pitch not only to solitude but also to subtlety giving you a great answer to decks like Titan field. I think both versions are good but it depends on the meta...

No way, I’d even cut the verdicts and run a 4 of WotS. Lol being able to wipe the board for 2 mana in an energy package is absolutely bonkers.

Dont cut the 2 mana wrath that also hits enchantments and artifacts. Wrath of the Skies is significantly vetter then Verdict in every instance except vs Suncaller (which is bad vs the rest of our deck) and vs aggressive decks with counter spells (Grixis Deaths Shadow)

@@blightX9 esper is cool, being UW with bowmaster and fatal push, however it's better suited in a meta with creatures like Thalia. Grixis has aome really cool builds atm with a more aggressive grixis shadow deck, a midrangey wizards deck with Tamiyo, snapcaster and flame of anor, and also a very grindy version with the jace valki combo! If you have a grixis manabase crafted you are in for a lot of fun atm!

I realy like your deck. just two things regarding deckbuilding. When you don´t play mystic sanctuary your fetches schould get your basiclands so you can get around bloodmoon so instead of polluted delta you schould play arid mesa when you can it feches everyting but island and plains is the by far more importent basic against any moon stratygy you need plains. you only need island for cantrips to find plains wich get wors since you cant shuffle without feches anyway. second i dont think big teferi is strong enought anymore for 5 mana the one ring is just so much better for less mana and Phlage can do a good job of gaining you live so the lifeloss from the one ring is less of a problem and more rings can replace each other better then teferi can when your low on life. but in the end it come down to preferenc i guess and i like seeing teferi again.

@@joelbuschaus8505 yeah i fully agree arid masa is 100% better than delta here (i just don't own any 😔) I've evolved the deck since uploading and I don't think I even play the basic island anymore to make space for an arena of glory, i also got my hands on a 3rd one ring which I cut lorien reveald for. Teferi 5 isn't the strongest I know but it pains my heart too much to cut him. I think in a deck where you can fetch mystic sanctuary and put a counterspell on top then draw it with teferi he's good but here he is really just weaker exrta one rings

@@ControlGuyMTG Everybody has his petcards and thats a great part about magic that you can make it work even if there is somthing better i realy love snapcaster Kolagan´s Komand combo. it used too be the backbone of 2018 Leagacy Grixis control wich is my alltime favorit deck and i still but it into my Bug Controldecks on Areana Timeless its a Oko uro bowmaster controldeck that splashes red for Kolaganscommand and E I. with fechlands 4 coulor isn´t a real problem. i propably should cut it for the One Ring but i am more of a reactiv player good old draw go control with some discard some counter and a lot of removal and it works realy well once you survive the earlygame there is no deck that can outgrind it. i head game whre the oponent had an activ one ring for several turn and the deck still outperformed it cause everything you do is 2for1and every 2for1 gives you another 2for1.I can give you a Moxfielflink if your intrestead.

@@dubsthelegacy no but only because i haven't got any stifles crafted I think a jeskai scam deck with phlage, solitude, subtlety and nulldrifter could be really good

@@ControlGuyMTG Consign to memory is an uncommon version of the stifle effect. It can't stifle fetches, but it counters opposing One Rings and the replicate is situational upside. In Historic it's almost strictly better than Stifle.
