This is really great. I am trying to create a brown direct dye for my natural gray and brown hair. I didn’t want to use the Clairol direct dye brown because they test on animals and I trust the arctic fox to wash out eventually (unlike overtone on gray hair)

I like your video. I have sensitive scalp and get burned from any hair color. Artic Fox might be my best pic since it is cruelty free. To cover my gray I want dark brown. Could you make a dark brown. I kind of like the blue baby and the sunset orange. Thanks again.

I'm not a professional. All box and salon dyes burn my scalp and artic fox is the only thing that doesnt!

Sunset orange is so overpowering. I've made dye with it that looked like mud trying to do a toned down mix and my hair still came out super vibrant

I just bought some sunset orange and blue Jean baby 😭 I’m gonna try it out and hope it works to cover up my annoying white hairs. I was using henna to naturally dye them, but it’s always too red and ends up coming off my whites and leaving them orange 😭 so wish me luck that it works! I’ll give an update on how it goes and try and update to say how it is with further washes as well!

I did end up trying it! When I initially made it up it looked very purple, but honestly I wasn't too bothered and used it with the same measurements as was used in the video, it also looked very purple on my hair. When I washed it out though it's was a dark brown with a slight reddish tint. It lasted about 2-3 weeks. Though my hair wasn't bleached before hand so if you're doing this on bleached hair I'd say it'll be way more vibrant, for reference my hair is a dark brown colour, apart from my evil whites anyway 😂 I think I'll try it with half and half next time. I'm not too fussed if I'll turn red or not.

It's very interesting, in some lighting it does look kind of plum! In some it's more brown and in others it's more red 🤩
