I've been draft watching for a while, and the Trade (frost -farabee) for me looks like DB, getting ready to make a U-turn, draft high (top 10 )with cap space , look for an FA center close to fitting the time line or Offer sheet (maybe) trade Risto and first round or more for again center, draft centers like Caleb Desnoyers, and me i like Brady Martin rank(18) Summer moves should be crazyyyyy😎

Michkov didn’t get benched for taking a risk. He got benched for not taking accountability when his mistake led to a goal against. That is what they were arguing about on the bench, and that is exactly what torts said in postgame. Kelly is ridiculous about torts

I agree with this but also I can understand people who disagree with the entire rest of the game being benched. If I wanted to watch the flyers win games, I would have liked for torts to play their second leading scorer (stats wise) in the third period down 2-0

@ that is a fine perspective to have. My issue is with them misrepresenting what is going on. I also disagree with Bill that it is “asinine” to sit bench Michkov for half a game over the argument with the coach. Charlie stated recently, on this show, that Provorov was disliked in that room because he would never take accountability for on ice mistakes and would blame others in film sessions. The pride night thing was just the last straw. These games don’t matter. So I can see the logic of the Flyers wanting to nip that kind of issue in the bud.

@@3c4ti110you are 100% correct brother. Torts/ players will play to win, but the reality is THESE GAMES DONT MATTER. The entire rest of the season is to work on specific things and better our position for this upcoming draft.

Take responsibility in film sessions, not in the heat of the moment when the player knows he made a mistake, is frustrated, and oh the team never scores and he has that chance.

I’m a flames fan who has wandered into your show and I realize my opinion won’t matter. Torts is a villain in Calgary for many reasons but anyone who knows hockey knows Torts is a pretty good coach and unfortunately he’s too good for the team you have now. With him you will never bottom out which is the best when you want to rebuild, we in Calgary have been plagued with low scoring but too good of players to bottom out. With a couple of crap seasons the flyers definitely could build a good team. Best of luck for the future and thanks for Farabee and Frost. Kuzy is a fantastic team locker presence and pelts is a spark plug I’m upset to have lost him. I hope they do great for your team. I know the 7th rounder doesn’t mean much but we got our franchise goalie in the 7th round

Flyers need a number one center biggest thing needed. There will be a signing or a trade. Cozens would be good to add. Flyers arent getting shots through and need to shoot more and hit the net lol. Laughton does something last game shoots at bad angle misses net puck goes around boards and cost goal. If puts on net has 2 going to net for possible rebound. Flyers on PP dont move it fast enough to open up lanes. They give kill time to move with them. Having players on wrong side does work on PP either as there is no shooting option unless stopping puck then shoot.

That’s what I hate about people comparing them. Yes celebrini has more stats in less games, but total TOI is the same. Also celebrini is a center and Michkov is a winger. Two different positions who touch the puck different amounts

Why keep cates or drysdale? Cates will never be worth the deal they give him and never have a higher value than now. Drysdale just isn’t a good defenseman.

I have to say right now TK is worth every penny, but 5 yrs from now👎,would be nice to see them get a huge return from a team that's in the final playoff spot . It's not fair to TK to let him spend his prime years with this shit show of a team .
