The fan base blamed play calling as the excuse for hurts bad play. Here we are with new everything basically and hurts still can’t handle a blitz, see the field or stay in the pocket and make a decision without running unnecessarily. Wasn’t an awful game, but it’s the same crap with him. Thankfully Saquon was a big contributor, because hurts solely passing would have been a loss for us other wise. Yes it’s just game 1, but don’t be blind to his habits he still is doing.

Exactly what I expected a offense that looks like it struggled to put it together Hurts has made no steps forward in seeing the field, hurts still holds the ball too long, hurts still gets those short passes knocked down hurts still turns the ball over especially in scoring position, you go get a third WR and don’t even get him looks Defense had trouble against the run as usual Huff at zero tackles zero pressures and zero sacks Davis isn’t making any plays especially next to Carter Dean looks like he hasn’t played in two years Maddox still stinks So what did you guys do in the off season and training camp ??

Interesting, because when I pointed this out before and definitely last year, ppl claimed no it’s the play calling. Lmao😂. He keeps getting a pass and excuses made. Brown was upset often because hurts is holding onto the ball, and running when there are open throws to be made. He throws into double coverage regularly. He looked the same as last season. Now let’s see what the excuses are if he keeps it up over the season.
