Most OP lineup in the game is most likely bringing all the captured tanks that germany has. Captured Sherman, t-34, KV-1, Churchill etc and just stomp everyone.

That Churchill is an absolute menace, and the German KV2 is by far my favorite tank in the game. Absolutely love the performance. It’s kinda hilarious how cheap they get during those mega sale events, I think I got 5-6 tanks for less than $20 bucks total.

The T-34 with a 75mm PaK kinda existed, the Finnish army refitted a T-34-85 with a 75mm Stuk 40 gun (from a hetzer). This conversion was called the ps. 245-4 and I think that it would be good at 4.7 between the panzer IV H/J and panther D.

@@leeham6230 First of all The D5T is 5.0. Second of all the 3 Man turret gives the tank a benefit compared to the D5T and Last but not Least If it would be 4.7 The Balance between it and the T-34-57 would be downright unfair

The other bias point of T-34s is the entire side of the tank is lined with radiators, so when you shoot the side there's a better than 50% chance you'll just hit a radiator which doesn't do shit in WT.

It used to be a lot worse too. The fuel tanks in the T-34 and KV-1 used to just eat your shots entirely even if you penned. Since they added the fuel exploded mechanic it at least stops those from being an effective spall liner. Which is genuinely how they acted before.

That’s actually what happened. The turrets would be destroyed but the chassis would be fine, or when the Russians would run out of fuel they would sometimes just abandon the vehicle. The Germans even used it to mount the 20-mm Flakvierling 38 anti-aircraft gun aka the flakpanzer t-34r.

KV-1 (L-11) has the exact same turret mechanics, except it can partially stop German 75mm/M10 M64 shot. It acts like a spall liner and is completely OP

Once I had encounter with that german K-1 premium. He was driving boldly on our positions uphill on cap point and in dense forest. The fight was fierce. I at least shot him 15 times, and my team was shoting at him all the time. So I think he got like at minimum 40+ shots. Multiple artillery bombardments. He soaked all. He survived. Multiple times he was tracked and in repair mode and he just stand there. Many wrecked tanks, both ours and enemy gathered around him so he could hide behind them. Meanwhile he get support from others and so I died. I came with plane to bomb him. I droped bomb. Yep he survived that too. Nuts. He won that game for their team.

Man the T-34s really are pretty much invulnerable to most fighter based bombs that aren't direct hits... Yesterday I was bombed at least 5 times and the most damage I took was tracks and barrel, and a Sherman had to finish me off

@PhlyDaily There is a hidden 20-30 mm (?) plate around the gun breech hidden inside. That's the hidden Russian bias. Stuff like that. You can see it when you perfectly align your mouse between the vertical crack of the "cheeks" of the turret and the gun mantlet itself

Hey Phly! You should check out the Italian C13 T90! It was the vehicle that got me my phirst nuke, and I’d like to see it and the ABUL/74 (specifically the 90mm) on the channel! The combo means in any terrain you can get to a sneaky spot, and scout phor tons of SP! (Day 85) (But play the Hawk III first)

7:25 The fact that you can do that in War Thunder, makes this game better and more realistic than WoT in my opinion! In WoT you can't sit in a shadow and be undetected. Not when a tank passing you by from this close! You would get spotted and everyone in the enemy team can see you and your position! The HP bar gives you away! There are also many other reasons why I think WT is the best tank battle game! This is just one of them!!

Daddy Phly, that turret is around 100 mm thick, those "cheeks" are overlaid on top of the turret front plate. Germans also were really "surprised" with those cheeks when this new turret was introduced on the frontlines.

Germany also has the best KV-2, with the soviet equivalent (the KV-2 (1940)) being a rare vehicle and the KV-2 (1939) being the worst version of the KV-2. It also has the best desert and city camo because of them only being one color that is very cloe to their surroundings.

The German Pak 36(r) is a Russian field gun but rechambered for Pak 40 75mm ammunition which has twice the propellant of the 76.2mm Russian gun and a better shell APCBC-HE. I wonder if Gaijin decided to do the same to the T34/76 gun, even though the Germans never modified them that way. It should have a cupola as well. That they did add for good visibility. As to the front turret armor looks like they welded the curved plate onto the base armor so there is the 53mm bulge plus the 45mm base armor plus the front turret angle and the curved plate. That gets you the 100mm effect. Try shooting the mantlet.
