6:55 this does indeed still work. the portal needs to be a chunk loader tho and you need to go through it and then exit through another portal far away. also the fishing-rod thing has to be exactly in the border of normal chunks and lazy chunks loaded by this chunk loader. when going through the portal, the fishing rod will be stuck in lazy chunks and "frozen", allowing it to stay connected as long as the player itsself doesnt load the chunk. pulling the fishing rod activates the pressure plate (lazy chunks load blocks but not entities, the fishing pole is considered an entity) with then triggers the pearl stasis chamber. you can look up a yt tutorial for more detailed info.

for the fishing rod stasis chamber it works by using a glitch you set the statis camber up with the fishing rod then while it is still on the pressure plate go into the nether it will do a weird thing where now you can take the fishing rod out of your hand, but the game will still think it's bobber is on the pressure plate then anywhere in the same dimension, as long as the chunk is loaded i think, use the fishing rod and it should teleport you if everything works accordingly

Phoenix, the fishing stasis chamber does work, you just need to enter another dimension to unload the chunks before the fishing rod snaps, and then travel outside of loading range in the overworld. then, using the rod again causes an update, which changes the positional data of the bobber, causing it to move off the pressure plate. it's the unloading the chunks that really makes it work

For the teleportation trick, you need to go to the nether portal thats 3 chunks away from the stasis chamber, it will make the game think the fishing rod still reaches the pressure plate even if it isn't(correct me if im wrong). Theres a detailed tutorial on how to do it just sesech "fishing rod stasis chamber", im too lazy to explain step by step Edit: fix some typos
