This CBA turned out to be a nightmare for players in the MLE tier. Don't get me wrong, happy the Suns got a player like this to further improve their roster, but no way should Tyus have been essentially jobless for as long as he was with so many good teams not looking to give him an opportunity. This time last year I bet he would have been picked up by a contender and paid that 15M range that Flex mentioned. Lot of other Free agents right now I feel the same about.

Book is about the same size as Khris Middleton who is a championship level small forward. Plus the Suns have a roster of long boys now they can use if they want to roll out big man lineups.

@@psychobluesfxt don’t matter book is at his best at shooting guard can he play sf? Sure just like he capable of playing pg but book needs to be at sg so we can get the best book Beal is not too good to come off the bench

Beal needs to start. He’s still a top 10 player at his position and is being paid too much to come off the bench. You can start Tyus and move Grayson to the bench, and while that does make you smaller, you have a deep enough rotation now to plug and play other guys to fill needs within the game. For example, if you need to go bigger, you can do that by taking Tyus out and putting in Royce. There are a lot of options here, but it’s important to know that it doesn’t always matter who starts. What matters is which lineups get the most minutes together throughout the entirety of the game.

So the Suns overpaid their 2 free agent wings cause they couldn’t replace them. Then added two PGs who will never be able to share the floor with Book & Beal. Still haven’t addressed the defense or upgrade the center slot. How is that an A+ of an offseason?
