Hello, bloodborne speedrunner here! About the 'Orphan stunlock', if you stay in front of him and attack him with a full bar of stamina, you can lock him into an AI loop which makes him even more trivial. All you need to keep him in this loop is make sure you hit him at least once after you stagger him back into moving. With beast blood pellets, this AI loop is even viable in speedruns, killing him in under a minute. EDIT: Forgot to mention that you can get him into that glitched state by parrying him and throwing any item that deals damage, as the video says. Parry, throw something, full bar of stamina of R1s, backstep, parry, repeat. We use poison knives because their animation is faster and it's available in the Hunter's Dream shop at the point of the run where we enter the DLC. Good video!

The fall camera glitch can be used to skip areas and events. You can navigate past the password door to forbidden woods before killing Amelia, which will keep the game in it's daytime state until you kill rom. When you kill Amelia after killing Rom, the game will be sent back to its night time state, letting you explore upper Yhargul in a night lit sky. Problem is, killing Amelia before killing The One Reborn will close the giant door in Yhargul streets, keeping you from progressing. This is what the fall glitch in Yhargul can be used for. To get you past that door, or even skip The One Reborn entirely. This can really mess with your game in some neat ways... -fighting Amelia and the Crow of Cainhurst simultaneously -Seeing the blood moon and normal moon in Reborn's boss cutscene -Losefka's clinic in the daytime -a missing skybox in the upper cathedral And more... Forbidden Woods and Byrgenwerth are unaffected by this glitch.

You can cause the frozen boss glitch at Ebritas by going in to wake her up and then dying or leaving. Then summon a friend that is standing in the doorway to the fight. When they are summoned they will start in the boss room side and able to kill ebritas without her attacking, no health bar etc while the summoner stays out in the room with the elevator. When the summon kills Ebritas they get all the credit. Still active today.

16:37 I discovered right now that it's actually possible to get out of the Dungeons, you just have to fall all the way into the white endless until you die down there. Don't do anything, just let your character fall to it die, then you get out of the dungeons.

Fun fact: If you get Gehrman to do his leaping attack near the wall on the left side of the arena (assuming you are facing toward the tree) Gehrman will get stuck in the wall. He can still hit you with a few attacks, but he's completely immobilized.

It's also possible to glitch enemies through the world geometry with the scythe's fully charged r2 attack. Even some bosses. Queen Yharnam is especially vulnerable to this

I remember hearing a crazy rumor that the " Free DLC" glitch is what lead From Software to choose not to put out the 2nd Planned DLC pack for Bloodborne. (( while in actuality they mixed the 2 DLC together into one Big Pack. However, they did removed around 20% of items/side bosses do to one of area was removed in the final version))

For the Rifle Spear, it applied the Arcane damage to EACH bullet rather than a flat damage bonus, whats why you could hit for 2K per shot.

A smaller glitch is using the Madaras Whistle on certain enemies. The item can damage invulnerable opponents, with the intention of preventing players from simply rolling through the attack. But in the DLC, you can hit the snail girl that falls out of the sky out of the invulnerable "dead" animation she's in. A more useful use is to use this on the bloated head of the DLC nurse after completing the sidequest. Again, hit out of invulnerable "dead" animation, and you're left with docile head with infinite HP. You can use this to build up your beasthood to maximum for the next two boss fights (pretty effective if you have all beast runes)

There seems to be some sort of glitch with the Keeper of the Old Lords where hitting him with a visceral attack while he's near a wall will send him into the wall. Charge and visceral attacks seem to just be glitchy in general as I've seen quite a few enemies sent clean through walls using them. One of the large huntsmen in the forbidden woods is especially vulnerable to this whether he's hit with a visceral or a charge attack from a weapon like the burial blade.

The inactive boss glitch can be used on other bosses. I used it on Amygdala and on Gerhman. As soon as the boss kills you, shut off your console and turn it back on. When you start the game again, you'll spawn just inside the fog gate and never trigger the fight.

Bruh the werewolf door glitch So glad you included that as a little nod in the beginning. Bloodborne was my first Fromsoft game and I literally spent hours using that door as a way to get a better grip on the parry mechanic, learning the werewolves move set, my weapon's respected range, the enemy's range, how much grace I was given with the quick step, etc. It was literally a way to trap a monster in a cage and experiment on it. Don't think I could have beaten the game without it

Hope you did research on Sanadsk so it actually was him who data-mined the things in his videos. He's been caught multiple times taking credit for things he didn't do, stealing cheat tables etc. Saying it was all him. I had an interesting glitch in woods before the shadows fight, I found a single spot that no matter my hp, if I went past that tombstone my hp would instantly refill along with my stamina bar, it even happened during an invasion.

There's this trick, I'm not sure how or why to deal with shadow of gank. Kill fireball and sword shadow first and leave flamethrower one to phase 3. Then lock on, R1. He will side step, follow him, spank another R1, he will side step again. Repeat this till he die. Then you can avoid the entire phase 3 with giant snake, extending fire sword etc.

The top down glitch actually causes load triggers to despawn, monsters to not spawn, and any doorway loaded by a load trigger to not spawn. Its also caused by falling into a death camera trigger, but not actually falling far enough to die/ hit the death trigger. Death camera triggers are placed above death triggers. This glitch is used in speed running dark souls 3 to skip most of farron keep. You can also reset the camera by quiting out of the game and loading back in. :)

Demon's Souls is the only one I don't like. I'd still say it's a good game, just be prepared for a lot of very stilted animations and janky bosses that are rough approximations of what they were supposed to be. People like to say Dark Souls is unfinished because demon ruins/lost izalith is so phoned in and bed of chaos is such a bad boss, but every other area in the game is great and weirdly polished. Demon's souls truly feels unfinished to me.

You are still able to do the inactive boss glitch but with other bosses too, but it involves help with another person. 1. The beckoner needs to have already activated the boss (so far darkbeast paarl doesn't need this) and shouldn't have the beckoning bell activated till later 2. The cooperator needs to have already killed the boss 3. The cooperator would ring the resonant bell and slowly inch towards the boss area until an X appear over the bell symbol on the top left screen, then slowly inch back until the X Is gone 4. The beckoner will finally ring their bell and wait until the cooperator gets the message of being summoned 5. Once the cooperator gets the message, they must Sprint to the lamp of the boss. Now there's a chance of you glitching through the fog wall when summoned, meaning you can kill the boss without it being active I've only tried this with paarl and ebrietas and it should probably work with other bosses

Would have been nice if you did a little bit more research on the skips/glitches and actually credited the people who poured hours and hours of glitch hunting in this game to discover them. Myself and others have dedicated a lot of our free time in finding things that make speedruns faster so that little bit of acknowledgement goes a long way for us. The first glitch you mention is the Top Down Glitch (more commonly known as Death Cam). You say it has almost no use but is the only glitch in the game that allows you to skip mandatory bosses needed for story progression. It can be used to skip both Vicar Amelia and The One Reborn. This creates a lot of interesting interactions in the game and allows you to continue the game without ever killing them. If you did a little bit more research you would find that while Shadows AI freeze was patched early in the game's life cycle, you can still do it by climbing climbing the tree before the area that it was originally preformed. They only fixed the original way of doing it by added an extra invisible wall near the pig and fires. I'd like to also name some of the contributors and discoverers of a lot of the skips shown in the video. Yharhagul Skip - ThisHEX Lunarium Key Skip - ThisHEX One Reborn Skip - Romanticore (Me) Nightmare Frontier Skip - gamerfan8 JVC Amelia Skip - Disortion2 / Romanticore NQO Sewer Skip - GiantCookieJar New Shadows AI Freeze - Distortion2 NQO Hamlet Skip - えびふらい And so so so many others. Without them the game would be much less interesting than it is now.

I had a similar Kos glitch. I summoned a random and they obliterated phase one, going into phase 2 almost immediately. He died in (what should have been) the transition mid-attack. He managed to stun Orphan and I killed it while the summon died. The thing was though, that Kos didn't actually die. His phase 1 model stood in place. I played the cutscene after and he stayed, but when I went to the hunter's dream and came back he was gone. I think that because he never went into phase 2, the game considered his model "alive". I actually uploaded it here. So anyone who sees this go check it out I guess.

Hehehe. I’m that one person who has the day of release dvd of bloodborne. So setting my ps4 to offline setting and plugging the cd in allows me to play the very first version where all the glitches are still available. I’m a genius!

I’ve beaten this game around 10 times now, I have a very good idea of almost every enemy and mechanic but this video just blew my mind, the unreleased content in its self is amazing but the DLC glitch is huge but short lived. Now I can go back and fight some unreleased bosses and explore some unreleased content

@@wi13y88 congratulations! It is indeed a fun game, and it really shines apart from Dark Souls (which I also enjoy) because of it's faster paced combat and lack of shields. I haven't played it in ages, but I would heavily recommend checking out some Chalice dungeons, as you can unlock some pretty decent weaponry in some of them!

Here's a glitch: In Defiled Chalice Dungeon fight against the Blood Starved Beast, when it did it's long-jumping lunge attack at me from a little closer than the center of the room, it hit and went through the map and then fell. A minute or two passed before it actually "died". Kinda like the Loran Darkbeast at the end of this video.

You probably know this Phobia, if you watch speedruns, but the Iosefka skip is possible if you get the scourge beast to grab you at the gate you open for the short cut, you can get through it.

For the daughter of the cosmos boss you can still glitch her so she is still if your playing in co op all you have to do is have your friend start the fight quit the fight then summon you, when you being summoned sprint into the boss room and you will spawn behind the boss while your friend is not in the boss room

Thought I was stuck in the dungeons listed, turns out you just need to die to exit. Not death by the boss, death by falling out of the map. So use whatever blood echoes you have before trying them

As a speedrunner this game there is a rare soft lock you can get in after you kill rom where no enemies spawn and the door in the area to move on is locked and can't open
