The old lady in red thinks of Piper as some kind of little girl, plus its Piper's house so she has every right to speak to them all any way she wants. In the end, they all settled their differences. So her anger outburst was helpful, cause even in rl, being all peaceful doesn't always resolve things. Oh, and Leo was trying hard to stay out of it, by the way he just zoomed downstairs and orbed upped.

@@jaywest3734 I disagree. This is the season where Phoebe's selfishness starts to play priority to her character. While sure, her elements from the previous two seasons are there, she fixates WAY too much on her love with Cole that she prioritizes it over everything, even her sisters. Way too many moments in Season 3 Phoebe's only motivation or main motivation is Cole, even if he doesn't appear in the episode. in fact, season 4a improves on this because she doesn't just focus on Cole. She even goes to making snide comments any time one of them expects anything going wrong with Cole, but then will denounce Cole as redeemability evil if SHE comes to that same conclusion. It also makes Phoebe take a back seat to her growth she showed previously, the sister learning to not be irresponsible is doing just that. Phoebe obsessing over dates became a core part of her character and this season started that. This episode in fact is one of the worst cases for this because she is selfishly leaving Piper to do her own responsibility (even worse she was going to sneak out when Piper wasn't looking and just leave her) and she never directly apologizes for her actions. Even though Piper and Prue apologize for theirs.

Season 3, Episode 7, Power Outage

This was the episode where Phoebe became an unlikable character as her obsession with Cole started her whole "I'm prioritizing dates over responsibilities" as most of this season is just get doing that. It also doesn't help that she NEVER apologized directly for doing this to Piper, especially since she planned to sneak out and not have Piper notice her, meaning she would just leave her without notice to deal with this situation.
