It gets to me every once in a while but but this infotainment system is so much more capable than the stock setup and it definitely outweighs the bad. In my opinion.👍

Try to increase the brightness, that might fix the polarized issue, I used to have that same issue with Pioneer DD HU and I fixed doing that.

Yes, once you connect it to that wifi signal it'll always connect to that and you're ready to go

Thanks for the video, the OEM 8" screen on my 2018 ZR2 just started going crazy recently (like a ghost is operating the screen, pushing buttons and such) and the dealer tells me its from the screen delaminating but sorry its out of warranty. As a result I've been looking for a replacement and have read that the Pheonix screens are hit and miss, especially for their customer service. I've been wondering how yours has been holding up, if you have had any issues with it, and how well does it interface with the small screen between the steering wheel gauges?

It's held up well. It's still slow and buggy but I like it more that the oem. I still can't really recommend it bc it irritates me at times

I’ve had to replace mine twice took the dealership two years to fix it now it’s happened again and I just throw it away I have a empty void there now

I’ve had to replace the 8” screen twice now in mine and I been wanting this since I seen them but that dumb search bar in the middle of the gps screen drives me nuts that’s the only reason I haven’t gotten one yet. I don’t care about lag. But the biggest thing I went to iPhone and I hate google maps so if it’s able to do apple carplay I might get it

@@zyralex820 I say that if you are going to put that much money into it you might as well do a custom suspension for basically the same price. Go find what Kibbietech does for the ZR2 or Baja kits or peak suspension.

It is definitely the very first model. There are faster more capable models out there for this infotainment system

Does this work with the bose sound system? Somethin I want to add to my Z71 and just wanted to know if it might work. Mine doesnt have the dual zone climate but the factory 8 inch screen so the website is little confusing

Yes it works with the bose system. The dual climate is just none functional if you vehicle isnt equipped with dual climate. The radio even though it have 4 sets of RCAs there is no audio out all are inputs so If you plan on using an aftermarket amp you will have to purchase a separate component from a different company for it to work that will run you about an extra $400.00 . Personally i regret spending the money on this unit 3/4 of the functions dont work at all or dont work properly and to many glitches one of the biggest on mine is the radio will power itself on and just start playing with no key in the ignition and no one in the truck and will happen at random times.

Plug into your stock aux audio jack. I doesn't even need to be plugged in to anything else. It just tricks the system
