Phoenix Canariensis trunk shaving!

Here in Spain is very common do this work with this and date palms, the upper part “the crown” can in different shapes: conical, spherical, cylindrical, this depends on the palm man “Palmerero”.
Some people ask me on Instagram why do this?
Well there’re many answers to this question, some of these are:
Easier to maintain
Cleanness
Owner choice
Easier to identify posible trunk infections
Aesthetic reasons.

Quedan muy bonitas con el corvellon,vivo en USA, pero doy de oaxaca México y allá tengo como 6 🌴 y también hay demasiadas de las palmeras abanico crecen solas silvestres en los cerros y también de esas que les llaman cyca
