Enjoyed the video; came up in my feed. Last BF I'd picked up a number of products solely out of curiosity, including this. To me, it's a QD. Does well in this regard. Completely agree with the assessment in the video. I do like it. Same goes for a number of similar products, so I'm not sure I'll be buying more. There's nothing about it that makes it stand out. Don't get me wrong; it is very good.

I've tried Titan before and wasn't overly impressed with it. Now I use Slip Stream and talk about slickness and gloss. Once I didn't wash my car for a month to test the longevity of Slip Stream and it was as glossy and slick as the day I applied it. I used it as a drying aid and the results are phenomenal.

I think it depends on your expectations, i think as a standalone its not the strongest, but its a fun product and works well as a quick spray. As an LSP its not really a needle mover.

Thanks for the honest review. Ive got a ceramic coated matte paint (gyeon evo) and slickness is by far the most important to avoid marring matte finish, so this one takes the cake. I hand wash my car about 1-2 times per week since I drive frequently on highways with tons of bug splatter. I like how you can apply the titan on top of sealants so I apply gyeon q2m cure matte every 3 washes and follow it up with this to add another layer. My car is like a layered cake of ceramic coatings :). Seeing that it wears out rapidly on the 6th wash, I'm thinking about applying it every other wash instead.. it's a rather affordable product in comparison to the initial investment into the vehicle plus the ceramic coating and it's so easy to apply, too.
@felixf5211
@felixf5211 25 күн бұрын
My car is like yours. Multiple layers of ceramic products. After a few months of this, the paint looks like it has the depth of a candied apple. A striking look. I'm sure that you know what I mean. Started doing this with sealants about 18 years ago. Ceramic products are significantly easier to work with.

Being the first person to use this, and the first person to use Topper ( I tested Topper along side one other detailer ) I can tell you Titan is better. I got to test them under different conditions ( slightly, it was early August of last year I applied it to a few cars ) and I had just use Topper earlier in the year. Topper with or without the scents is a much lighter spray. I also used OP spotless to maintain it not just cat shampoo and it held up nicely. I then used it on Immortal as a Topper type and it stayed glossy and slick. Titan is a good product. But lookout in the future for bigger and better things from Phoenix EOD.

@@DmitrysGarage I honestly like the Immortal, Titan combo. I like two layers of immortal and use Titan as the maintenance spray. I find this to be the best combo, or you can lay down the Glossom Wax imo needs a solid 24hrs to cure (imo) and then Titan and it’s another good combo.

Good content, I'm interested if there could be a slight different testing set for detail sprays as they are not really LSP or even much as toppers, last stage wipe downs to tidy up finger marks and wax bits after putting down true LSP. In fact one my key for them is they do not overly effect existing hydrophobics.

Best Scenario: leased car, go to hand car wash. Get home there is water stains from draining water. Spend 5 mins applying titan. The car is pretty and next wash will cause significantly less love marks. Repeat the process and after 4 years if you decide to buy back your lease, the car will look Night and day difference from your wife's car who didn't even take the spray on wax at the car wash. It's good to do alone but better long term results if used as a maintenance topper. That's what this product is, it's the medication to the disease of being a car guy that wants his car looking nicer than the neighbour's. The kind of guy that ask you to guess what year it is because of how beautiful the paint looks on his daily driver after so many years.

Dmitry, have you ever tried Technician's Choice TEC582 ceramic detail spray? While I haven't used Titan personally, TEC582 has been working wonderfully for me as a "topper" post-wash. Highly recommend picking some up for future testing, especially if you end up performing a detailing spray head-to-head test at some point in the future.

I’m stuck between a spray wax, paint sealant, or ceramic spray. I’ve been watching your videos and deciding on the WolfGang products: 1) Wolfgang Uber Sio2 Silica Spray 2) Wolfgang Uber Sio2 Ceramic Spray 3) Wolfgang Uber Sio2 Paint sealant Which one would you recommend?
@DmitrysGarage
@DmitrysGarage 2 жыл бұрын
Out of the three, #1 is my favorite, the Silica Spray. Super durable, looks really good, easy to use. Not much to dislike given how straight forward a product it is. The Deep Gloss Paint Sealant would be my second favorite, but more for a non-daily driven sort of car. You can use it on a daily driver, it's just not that long lasting compared to other products. Very pretty, slick and easy to use though.

wash tests should include dirt. wash, throw dirt, rinse, throw dirt, rinse, wash... repeat 4-5x. to get a normal cycle of what a car goes through between washes

Ive though about this in the past, similar to dust testing im not sure how to best implement the test. Most people dont mud in their cars, so how much dirt? What kind of dirt? Etc… this is right now primarily and abrasion and resistance to a mild detergent test.

I guess for the money it's okay, the bottom line is it doesn't give you the durability as it has very low concentrations of sio2. If you want something with durability and something that will last and something that has a UV and a great loss then the answer is Gtechniq liquid Crystal c2v3. After using nearly 30 or 40 different products and testing them in our shop we have found that this is the best any others aren't even close.
