The first time i heard about phoenix i was about 16 years old. I was in Highschool. That day i was sick, so i stayed at home and turned on a tv show were they mixed music videos with sport videos. I remember listening to "Everything is everything", and falling completely in love with the way this band sounded. Ever since that day i thank for my sickness because without it, i would have never found out about Phoenix.

Takes me directly to 21st myself in these confusing era when experience love and longing and acceptance that I will never going to see that guy I've had a serious crush on, all emotions together mixed up inside.... I love this album. It's very underrated coz it shows a softer more folk side to the band with more personal songs. Only just discovered Phoenix and feel bad I never heard of them until now. I literally went on itunes and downloaded everything! They are the best band in my world right now. Every album is amazing and different. They're the antidote to depression and brought me out of a dark tunnel. Thanks guys. You rock! 😎
