The three players are (in order of appearance) IG Rookie, G2 Caps, and SKT Faker. They are three of the best players in the world. The champions (Lissandra for Rookie, Irelia for Caps, and Karma for Faker) are all champions they suffered a major defeat with. Rookie lost at MSI 2019, the second largest tournament in league, Caps lost in the world finals last year, and faker lost in the 2017 world finals. As you said, faker is regarded as the best player in the world because of his legacy, having won 3 world championships. However whether or not he is still the best is hotly debated in the community. P.S. if you want any help learning league, hmu. I love the game, and play with less experienced players reasonably frequently, so I've gotten pretty good at helping people through the worst of the learning curve

To correct you, this is about Rookies world run in 2015 where he placed last in what was considered the easiest group at that time which consisted FNC, AHQ and C9 (Posters in the subway). His last game was with Lissandra.

The players shown are Faker (press conference table), Caps (the one on the PC) and Rookie (the one in the subway); they are currently considered to be the best midlaners in the world and Faker has been generally considered on the best players of all time, he has won 3 of the 8 World championships so far, thats why he was in other vids aswell. Story behind the video is that this are not only their favourite champs but they also lost on them in tournament finals. Faker failed to defend his worldchampionship title on Karma, Caps lost in last worlds finals on his Irelia and Rookie lost on his Lissandra in the final of the last Mid season invitational (against Caps Team btw). FYI: Midseason Invitational is somewhat of a small worldchampionship where the best teams from each region face off against each other midseason, usually treated as important indicator where the teams and their regions stand internationally. So basically Faker wants to reclaim his title, Rookie wants to defend his and Caps wants to win his first and to do so they have to overcome their losses (on their favourite champions).

XD kkOma, Faker's current coach, might watch challenger tier players, which make up only the top .013% of League players. Since I highly doubt they are challenger, I don't even think Faker's coach watches these guys. It's just not worth his time.

Never quite understood the idea behind this video. The concept of the song is much more serious than a some stupid video game. I mean really, 10 years from no no one will know nor care who "Faker" is. The concept behind the song is the internal battle between you and yourself. Where as there is no such conflict in a video game because in the end, all you can do is lose the game. There's no life or death consequences, no permanent damage or destruction. Immortalizing someone or a group of people whom just happen to be on top that year for playing a game (when there are literally millions of games out there) isn't really much of an accomplishment compared to Real Life. I think it would have been better if they just stuck to the characters in the game for the video and left players out of it.
