"Phoenix Lights Washington State" I grew up on Lake Chelan where we regularly see military training exercises in the air from pretty much all branches. These lights appeared one night while I was in the hot tub with family friends visiting for my sisters basketball tournament. As the expression goes, the silence is deafening!! These lights appeared to be a solid bright light without glow around them, you couldn't hear engines or air moving, just crickets chirping on a clear calm night. To me, it appeared to be one craft but I can't clearly remember seeing a craft... These lights remained in perfect unison as they glided across the sky about the pace of a fast moving learner aircraft. Our lake, is about 3/4 mile wide and these lights seemed to span further than this distance. In the blink of an eye, they vanished... Not speed off... Vanished. I think it was possibly the same night as the lights in Phoenix as the timeline seems to match.

Ok i was in the military as well.and was on south mountain and watched this in person with my own eyes.I had great vision and wasn't under any influence I've also trained with various types of flares.I got one problem with this for all you GRAVITY they never dropped and were HUGE!!

I saw this in Glendale during the day 2 years ago and it indeed looked like a flying triangular rock. It went invisible like something you would see in a sci fi movie. I saw it gliding silently at about the height a helicopter would be flying. There was absolutely no noise and it literally glided smooth like escalator steps. I didn’t know what to think in that span of 3-5 seconds and I couldn’t even get myself to pull out my phone before it disappeared. And when it went invisible it started from front to back.

Shreveport , Louisiana 1/5/2020 at least 4000 people seen it , i was down the street from my house when i looked away NW and i seen 7 lights in a formation but I thought its the lights from the high voltage electricity towers but then i said to myself i been living here for 5 years and there is no towers there , then i realised that the lights are moving slowly after about 10 minutes they were on top of me and didn’t hear anything no jets of planes or anything , 10 minutes more they were too far and i couldn’t see them anymore , same night i watched the news and thats when i know other people saw them and even have videos of the whole thing.

I've been trying to get answers too for 13 years. I saw that thing in 2010 when I was in 9th Grade, while we were upstairs lying on the floor to look at the meteor shower. I wasn't the only one that saw it that night. I told my friends and relatives about it and they laughed it off, so I stopped telling. It was in Yangon, Myanmar.

They were probably illumination flares on parachutes so, from a distance, they would appear to be hovering (the hot gases going up into the parachute would also have slowed the descent). Also, because they were several miles away, people wouldn't have seen the smoke or heard the jets that dropped them.

I saw the Phoenix lights, they flew right over me. Completely silent, moving in a formation. I did not see it as one large structure. I still don't know what it was. It was not military flares or anything else. I was in the Air Force so it was not a Military aircraft or small planes. They flew over the whole state, from Kingman, over Phoenix toward Tucson from what i heard.

It was flares, I was military fighter jet mechanic, now military contractor at the bombing range and see this weekly. There is no video evidence of it moving lateral or from north to south. They have been debunked in many videos the lights descend perfectly verticals and go below south mountain on EVERY video taken. And all the videos are pointed south. Which is just north of my range where some yahoo shot off his flares way to far north and freaked everyone out and started to make up stories with no evidence.

There's only one video of the supposed "Wedge Shaped" object, where you can see the lights, but it's impossible to make out any actual shape or "Object" out of that video, since it's very blurry. The other famous video only shows the flares falling over Phoenix.

There was nothing that followed. Those flares burned out, the planes went back to DMAFB, what was seen in the video is the only visible part. I wouldn;t recommend Phoenix Light documentaries, they're all sensationalism meant to point to that it was aliens, not really provide facts.

Witnesses stated the craft/s blotted out the stars. Almost like a flying football stadium. Completely silent with no visible propulsion system. Military, Police, and Pilots all seen it. This wasn't flares or military training. Not one country has that technology or craft that can blot out the stars.

During this same time period there were numerous people here in east central Illinois and western Indiana who saw the same thing. This is a fairly rural place, but so many people saw that the local news did a story on it. According to the meteorologist it was an optical illusion from the reflection of traffic on the interstate. The flaw with that theory is everyone saw it to the south regardless of their proximity or orientation to the interstate.

I remember seeing this on the news on multiple different channels. I didn't even live in AZ! There are other videos of these lights from different views. I remember one where a family was screaming and taking about it on live TV. Only reason it made news was how everyone was watching these lights. "Sadly", this can be explained now, though I didn't believe in the flares explanation untill recently. You can check other videos of flares similar to the lights you can see here. They can be aligned, with regular distances between them, if they are far away it can look like they stay steady, but its an illusion as they are still going down. So the lights we see here are compatible with flares (also the fact that the lights appear one by one, you can check also videos of flares where this happens). Now, the reason they "disappear" like that, is that they were behind the mountain that you dont see in the video because of the bad quality and because of the dark. So as they were slowly going down with the parachute, they disappeared following the pattern of the moutain. The best proof is the light left alone that you can see on the left : it is lower than the "line" on the right, but the reason you can still see it is because the mountain on the left is lower too. You can check the reconstruction video they made, by overlaying the images of the lights with the moutain, you can't deny this fact. The large V was Canadair CT-114 Tutors flying with Instructor Pilots from RCAF Air Force station Regina. They were on a weekend cross country down in the states and after spending the first night at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas they headed to Davis Mathon AFB, Tucson. They fly night formation by turning off the beacon lights and turning on the landing light that is located at the nose tip of the aircraft. I knew one of the IP's in the formation. He was an exchange officer in our squadron at Randolph AFB. This was in 1998 when the documentary came out and he showed me his log books that had that leg in it and the date matched. They weren't supposed to fly night formation is maybe why they never confessed to it.

If their arriving 26 years later leads me to think that there's an optically invisible Einstein-Rosen-bridge interdimensional porthole in the skies within that region above Phoenix hence the name. It's a phenomena that could very possibly be only visible within the infra-red spectrum although it would be interesting to carry out more observations with the right equipment. The name Phoenix ofcoarse is derived from our Hopi indigenous cousin's all those years ago which describes that of a 'thunderbird' or as those that witnessed the enormous spectacle back in 1997, a huge massive delta wing boomerang shaped craft that passed by overhead. Even the late Art Bell from Coast to Coast AM claimed he saw it at the time. However the idea of a thunderbird does indeed correlate in description to that of the infamous Phoenix lights of 97' which not only stunned the good folks of Phoenix and other parts of Arizona but all over the world infact aswell as within the fields of ufology. Ancient sightings of this craft have most certainly indeed gave aerospace engineers plenty to think about over the advent of the stealth fighter wing not to mention from the very early days of the indigenous Aborigines peoples of Australia the idea for the boomerang. It reinforces our concept about higher space fairing intelligences having a key role in our ancient history throughout the many centuries and eons. It help formulate the rise giving to pyramid construction and other forms of ancient knowledge well ahead of the time from that time period. But also perhaps rather unbelievably but not entirely unplausible nor inconceivable that of temporal teleportation or in other words, time travel!

Caroline Cory's recently released documentary: 'A Tear In The Sky' (2022) makes a very compelling argument in investigating that exact question, featuring theoretical physicist Prof Michio Kaku and that of Star Trek's William Shatner to mention a very few! A serious study into this phenomena may unravel a better understanding in relation to UAV sightings that are spotted or are atleast associated with, such as; including that of mountainous anomalous areas especially in relation to areas with large bodies of water nearby that are understood to be geomagneticaly or geologicaly active or those areas that are notorious with heightened anomalous activity respectively in relation to UAV reports. A pioneering new study into this phenomena gives us a brief glimpse into how this could not only be made possible but actually how it would now be practically demonstrated. Although as one would imagine, it deviates away from our classic worldly interpretation as agreed by the Academia given the fundamental principal's of Newtonian physics as we would normally understand them. Although the outcome of these new studies paves the way into new law's being imposed by the Academia in order to best accommodate them fully although these are admittedly still very early days! We lived on the west side of Phoenix close to Luke Airforce base. I was looking at Hail bop (the comet) that night when my son and his friend told me of the lights. I turned and saw the lights as well. While I too staring a the lights a large black triangular plane flew over my head. It was so quiet coming up on me then all of the sudden there was a roar. It was so low I felt I could jump up and touch it. It must have been sent from the base. However, there we no reports of blackbirds or other black triangular shaped planes out that night. But I do know what I saw and they were investigating the lights over South Mountain. I would love to know what kind of plane that was. I watched the lights for a few minutes then they were gone. Was this all some kind of military exercise? I guess I'll never know.

This was debunked years ago. It was part of an event called the "Halloween Balloon Spooktacular" in which a skydiving team called the Arizona Skyhawks jumped out of a plane wearing bright magnesium flares for a show. The lights were actually four skydivers wearing pyrotechnics on their ankles. Maybe aliens exist, I don't pretend to know, but the Phoenix Lights incident has a very simple, Earthly explanation. If our visiting E.Ts so desperately want to be seen that they'll put their lights on whilst flying over densely populated cities, why would they stop at that? Beings who've traveled hundreds/thousands/millions of light years in order to make themselves known to humans will do it unambiguously...there are much more efficient, productive ways to make their presence apparent than by offering half assed light shows which are subject to interpretation. Conversely, if the E.Ts DON'T want their presence known, they're hardly going to be drawing attention to themselves by turning their lights on full beam whilst flying over major cities. 27 years later and these aliens who went out of their way to be seen in Phoenix still haven't given us anything more tangible than lights in the sky? I was the closest reporting aircraft (1.5nm S of me, above and below my altitude) that night. N7179P PA24-250. The whole event was recorded on Phoenix centers frequency (public info) . There was also a KingAir with an Indian pilot close by (funniest exchange ever on radio) . The lights were aerial flares. The Indian pilot had never seen flares while in flight and thought they were stationary lights on a mountain he was being directed to fly into. It became comical and there were unauthorized civilians on frequency as well. There's no mystery but, I'm happy to have been part of the myth. 😁

It has been solved. Parachuting team with pyrotechnics hired by an “Halloween event“that night that performed at the time of the videos. Solved by a local news helicopter pilot that attended that event. Certainly at least one news organization knew the truth.

The military is 40 years ahead in regards to technology, they started working with Ai in the 70's so you are probably right, drones can fly in formation, this is the most likely theory, although other tech they possess could be used here aswell.

It was a practical joke by a group of elderly pilots... Knowing how stupid and gullible the public is, they strapped halogen lights to Cessna planes with power inverters.. Had an old guy explain the whole thing to me, half drunk he was laughing his ass off about getting away with it...
