Phoenix Model Ka8B 4.5m Glider - Markus and Tommy's maiden Tow and flight. 4K UHD

Markus did maiden he's KA8B today. Tommy was towing with he's franken plane. A beautiful flight but i used a wrong lense and did not get good enough clips of the flights. But here are the ones i got.

Man that brings back memories! I have hundreds of flight on the manned K-8 as a kid! First cross country flight, first loop, first out landing, first competition.... Sweet glider many kids learned to fly on.

Hi, I just pre ordered one of these. Where do you have the Cg set at? Thanks in advance. Your maiden looked great.

Hi.! On the video it was set at 90mm. Used the included lifting tool when i built it. Now, that’s waaaay to nose heavy.! And the manual show’s you that the cg should be at 120mm. So i set mine at 100/110mm and are waiting to do some more test-flight’s. Also needed to shim up the leading edge of the stab to get the right incidence.!

Hey Birdman. I do understand that you want info about the pilot. I talked to Markus and he dosen't know cause the pilot was taken out of another plane. But Markus is going to see if he can find some info..

Hi.! The plane didn’t come with a pilot. So i just looked in every drawers and cabinet and found one that fitted nicely in the cockpit tub.! Hi must have come out of som older crashed project’s...
