Beat the Lakers in 5, the Nuggets in 4 and the Clippers in 6, you can argue that they have the toughest path to the finals had every of those teams were healthy. They had cushions this entire time and would probably still win in 7 game series. The biggest embarassment here in the playoffs is probably only the Sixers. They're healthy, yet they blow leads. Then the next one would be the Nuggets because they got the MVP yet can't win one game vs the Suns, sure Murray and Barton was injured but you can't exit the playoffs by a sweep.

Suns fan since 68. The Madhouse on McDowell. Seen some great players, Walter Davis, Connie Hawkins, Paul Westphal, Steve Nash, Charles Barkley. To name a few. Seen us lose in the finalsTo the Bulls and the Celtics. Both those series we were underdogs and played as such. Even the teams that didnt make it to the finals Nash and Stodemire come to mind. But to be able to build a team the old fashioned way through draft picks and free agency is a anomoly anymore. Couldnt be happier or prouder of a team than iam as these guys.

He is one of those rare coaching class acts. i still remember a few years ago when the news broke that his wife was killed in a car accident before a nba game and how he handled that interview and funeral was amazing.
