Most likely because of Von Karma, she is always prepared to counter-attack Phoenix with very strong arguments so when this plays it's like Phoenix made a very strong point but is still on his toes to defeat von karma. JFA has good soundtrack tbh

@@kamenvapor3658 Yea, and also I think this can suit more to a prosecutor, I mean it feels more like that than turning the whole case on it's head. It's more like you're FINALLY got the culprit on the toes, but still need to be careful, kinda Prosecutor-ish and something like when Edgeworth will be cornered (as prosecutor) and will make a comeback, with decisive proof the defendant is guilty(cause he/she will be in that case, they really will be the culprit, and the real difficulty will be lack of evidence)

And it sucks. Most of the case feel like a filler for the final case alone. Even Reunion and Turnabout(2-2) which involves Maya becoming a defendant doesn't feel that impactful and memorable, and if it was not for Bridge to the Turnabout I would've forgot that this case exist.

@@Heylanda-fb9xb Honestly I'm willing to overlook how bad 2-1 to 2-3 are with how phenomenal 2-4 is. Something like how a movie with a weak premise but an amazing twist and ending that redeems the whole thing could still be considered great. In Phoenix's overall growth arc, 1-1 was him learning the ropes, 1-2 was him being kicked out of the nest, 1-4 was him properly learning to believe in his client no matter what, and 2-4 was him questioning what it means to be a lawyer. (Edgeworth himself had a similar moment in 1-4 where he left to question what it meant to be a prosecutor, and when he comes back in 2-4 it's plain to see he's found his answers by how confidently he deals with the whole case). 2-1 was the weakest tutorial in the OG trilogy (and debatably the series as a whole), 2-2 is utterly forgettable despite introducing Pearls and we don't talk about 2-3 but 2-4 batted a thousand.
