As I recall, Phoenix was explicitly told that the fact that there was a page missing was not considered sufficient evidence. He had to provide proof that the missing page was not left blank.

YAYY the Good Ending! The only possible downsides to this I see are Zak still disappears, and Klavier's relationship to Kristoph breaks down early which aren't even full downsides cause Phoenix still adopts Trucy and Klavier might be more willing to expose Kristoph if he thought he was being lied to from the beginning. Great vid!

Personally, I'd think Klavier would be more pleasantly surprised rather than shocked of Wright not presenting the forged evidence. Keep in mind that prior to the trial, he was strictly told by Kristoph to never show him any respect because he would be in possession of forged evidence, hence why Klavier is a bit antagonistic towards Wright during that trial. IF Phoenix ende dup not presenting that crucial piece of evidence and takin th eloss, Klavier might've started thinking that maybe Wright wasn't as bad as Kristoph made him out to be; he had supposedly forged decisive evidence that would clear his client but he chose not to use it. I'd almost say that he might've even acknowledged that he initially thought less about Wright than he should've. OF course, the further consequences to this would be that after that trial, Klavier would start question Kritoph's motives and the tip off. How did he knoew about the supposed forged evidence? Was it just a lie from him due to being bitter for not being able to represent Zak? (Although wouldn't it be a Conflict of Interest if two brothers are the PRosecution and the Defence?) What if Kalvier thought Kristoph wanted to embarass him by making an accusation of Wright withholding forged evidence when he in fact didn't? At least this outcome would be slightly better for Valant? THen again, almost ass Gramaryes (Except Trucy and Thalassa) are kind of jerks.

Except the logical way it should have ended was him bringing up that the last page was clearly ripped out, maybe do some analysis to see if they could find the imprint of the writing on the back cover. Really there was no possible way that he could be convicted after that trial.

Tbf, it makes sense that Phoenix would present it, he was over confident in this trial due to it being a new prosecutor and he just got done with bridge to turnabout, there's also the fact that Phoenix has also gotten evidence and used items from sources that are extremely questionable at best and straight up outlandish, him getting a note from a little girl is not the worst piece of evidence he's had to go through

Honestly, Phoenix could squeese one extra day of this case for presenting the page, it was ripped of intentionally, but they didn't know the intentions or the content, that is enough to justify further investigation.

I like this framework for how things end up going. Only detail I see as an issue is that Klavier had always thought Phoenix took the case with forged evidence already in hand. He had no communication with Kristoph regarding his true plans. So if Phoenix doesn't accept the page and doesn't present it, Klavier would just assume he got cold feet or felt the trap coming. Otherwise, this is a really solid vid!

That would mean Phoenix would've known who forged the evidence and who had the actual final page of Magnifi's diary. Ergo, Phoenix would've already known everything about this case. I don't think that's really possible though, unless if we were to do a "joke" kind of vid, lol.
