Some tips: As a Heavy, you may rev up your minigun without firing by pressing your secondary fire button. If a Medic bot in an offline match is the only one on a team, it will refuse to leave spawn. You cannot capture a point while invulnerable (i.e. under the effects of an Übercharge). Spy cannot capture while invisible or disguised. Speaking of, you can go invisible by using your secondary fire button. Spy can instantly kill an enemy from behind with a backstab. It's got a weird hitbox though. Scout (and with a certain weapon, Soldier and Demoman) have a 2x capture rate, making them arguably better for tapping the payload. Unlike humans, friendly bots will actually respond to your voice commands (i.e. using the "Activate Charge" command with a Medic bot will prompt them to activate their Übercharge on you) I'm pretty sure most of these can be shown on the stats screen in your inventory and on loading screens.

Heavy can rev up by _holding_ the right mouse button. The medic bot won't follow engineers, spies, snipers, and other medics. You can also say "Go! Go! Go!" to make the bot activate the ubercharge . While you can't capture a point or push the cart while invulnerable, you can prevent the enemy team from doing so. This does not apply to disguises and invisibility. As a soldier, you can aim at your feet and shoot with your rocket launcher to rocket jump. To do this better, try jumping at the same time, and crouching before you do it. You can do a similar thing with demoman by using the stickybomb launcher. However, using more than 2 stickybombs will kill you if you're not invulnerable. As a pyro, airblasting projectiles like the soldier's rockets or the demoman's pipes will become minicrit boosted. Minicrits deal around 65% more damage than usual. Critical hits deal 3x the current weapon's damage, and there are different ways each weapons handles them. The Shortstop will make the rest of the clip deal 3x damage, most weapons will make that one shot deal 3x damage, and auto fire weapons like the minigun or flamethrower deal 3x damage for around 2 seconds. Some stock (stock means weapons that are there when you get the game, not weapons which have different stats.) weapons that do not get crits are: Knife, Sniper Rifle, Medigun (not used for dealing damage, used for healing teammates), Sentry (not a weapon, but one of engineer's buildings), and the sapper. As a sniper, pressing the right mouse button, commonly referred to as M2 or alt-fire, will toggle zooming in and out. While zoomed in, your weapon slowly goes from dealing 50 damage, to dealing 150. Also, while the sniper rifle cannot get a random critical hit, he can shoot the enemy's head to deal a critical hit guaranteed. As a spy, shooting or using your knife will remove your disguise, but sapping an engineer's building(s) does not. Also, an engineer's sentry will not shoot at you if you are disguised as one of the enemies. Medics cannot heal or overheal invisible spies, but you can heal them with the Crusader's Crossbow, an item that replaces the syringe gun. It deals more damage the farther away the enemy is, but heals allies, and heals more the farther away the ally is. However, it only holds 1 syringe at a time, as opposed to 40. Also, I highly recommend going to an achievement server, one with a command. They give you lots of achievements very quickly, and because each of the 9 classes have 3 achievement milestones, you'll get 27 weapons instantly. All of the achievement items: Scout; The Force a nature only holds 2 bullets instead of 6, and deals 10% less damage, but has a faster firing speed and knocks back close enemies. You can also fire while in the air, and doing so will move you in the opposite direction that you fired. Shooting a second time before you reach the ground does not. The sandman will make scout have 110 health instead of 125, but allows you to press m2 to fire a ball. Hitting an opponent will slow the opponent, with a slower move speed and longer duration the farther the enemy is. This weapon used to stun people, but currently doesn't. The Bonk! Atomic Punch (more commonly called "bonk") replaces Scout's pistol. When used on the floor, it makes you taunt briefly, then makes you invincible and forces you into third person until the effects are over. You cannot fire your weapon during the weapon's effects. You can still take knockback, and die by falling into pits. After the effect wears off, you will no longer be invincible, and be forced back into first person. You will get slowed down by a certain percent depending on how much damage you tanked. The slowdown is also brief, like the effects of bonk. Will be continued in another reply

Soldier: The equalizer deals more damage as your health gets lower, but while you're holding it, you get significantly reduced healing from medics. The direct hit deals 25% more damage, and has a much faster projectile speed compared to the stock rocket launcher. This weapon also does 65% more damage toward opponents that became airborne by explosions, rocket packs, or grappling hooks. However, this weapon has a significantly reduced splash radius. The buff banner does not directly deal any damage, instead charging and becoming full when you deal 600 damage in a single life. When used while full, soldier blows the horn, and he and nearby teammates deal 65% more damage temporarily. Pyro: The flare gun fires a projectile instead of many bullets. This weapon reloads even while you're not holding it, and it deals 3x damage on burning opponents. The backburner does 3x damage when you hit someone's back with it, but airblasts cost 50 ammo instead of 25. The axe-tinguisher deploys slowr, and deals 33% less damage, but deals 65% more damage on burning opponents. This weapon also deals more damage depending on the duration of afterburn left, snd killing a burning opponent with this will temporarily speed you up. Whenever an enemy gets hit by fire, they take extra but very minor damage for a short duration. Airblasting an ally on fire will make them stop burning, and also heals you for 20 health. You cannot extinguish enemies unless you're using the axe-tinguisher. Demoman: The charge and targe replaces your stickybomb launcher. You cannot select it. Pressing M2 will make you charge forward and deal 65% more damage. When the charge meter is below 75% while charging, instead of dealing 1.damage, you deal 3x damage. Hitting a wall, enemy,running out of the charge meter, or using your melee weapon during the process will set your meter to 0%. This meter slowly charges over time, but using a certain weapon turns ammo pickups into a way to increase the percent for the meter. You also take less explosive and fire damage. Compared to the other two shields, this one does not have any unique things about it, but it has the most fire and explosion resistance. The eyelander sets your health to 150 instead of 175, but increases your maximum health on kill up to 210, or 235 if you have boots. This weapon deploys and holsters slower, in exchange for having a larger range. Killing people also increases your speed, letting you run as fast as a Scout. The scottish resistance allows you to have 14 stickybombs deployed instead of 8, and has a faster firing speed. Unlike other stickybomb launchers, the S.R. does not explode every stickybomb by pressing m2. Instead, the stickybombs gain a white outline through walls, and when able to explode, have a red outline. Pressing m2 only explodes stickybombs with a red outline. Stickybombs gain a red outline when you're standing on them, or looking at them. You can also destroy enemy stickybombs and you have 50% more excess ammo. However, the stickybombs take 0.8 seconds longer to arm. Heavy: The sandvich, when used on the ground, makes you taunt for 4 seconds and heals you for 75 health evrey second. When you press m2 with this weapon, you throw it, and nearby allies can pick it up to restore half of their health. However, enemies can also heal themselves by stealing your thrown sandvich. This weapon is very commonly used by friendlies, a type of player that do not try to kill and hurt enemies, instead high-fiving them, dancing with them, and by using the sandvich, healing them. Friendlies sometimes do hurt or kill enemies, but only to be funny. The Natascha deals 25% less damage in exchange for slowing down enemies similar to the sandman, but making enemies more slower as you get closer. The Killing Gloves of Boxing, also known as the KGB, have a slower firing speed, but killing someone with this weapon gives you 3x damage on any weapon for 5 seconds. Engineer: The frontier justice holds only 3 bullets instead of 6, but every time your sentry kills someone, you get two points, and every time your sentry helps killing someone, you get one point. When your sentry gets destroyed, these points are converted into guaranteed 3x damage shots. The Gunslinger gives you 150 health instead of 125, makes 3rd punch that connects in a row deal 3x damage, and increases your sentry's build speed by 150%. However, the sentry is no longer able to be upgraded, and becomes similar to a level one sentry. This weapon is less centered around your sentry, and is more focused on you using your shotgun to deal damage. The sentry assists you instead of being s main source of damage. Will continue tomorrow

Here's a few friendly tips for first timers in TF2: - Guns reload automatically (if you have them deployed) - Weapons like Miniguns and Flamethrowers are unable to be reloaded (it would take a fuck ton of time to do so if you could). - There's the advanced options, which let you fix your FOV (by default, it's at 70) and also minimize the weapon (so it doesn't take half the screen). - You are unable to push the cart while invincible & disguised, and it moves just by standing close to it.

A tip for Spy: Spy when Disguised cant do any objectives at all, instead he looks like an enemy player... Knifing someone in the back is an instant kill as spy but loses your Disguise, wheras Sapping a Sentry or Dispenser doesnt

If you're going to play tf2 again, I recomend that you play the capture the flag game mode as its the most noob friendly from the rest, you only have to capture their intel o defend yourse, and the maps in that mode are usually more closed and have more combat. Here are some tips for the classes. Heavy: Don't get backstabbed by Spy and try to keep healed, sandvich is the best thing to heal. Sniper: Don't get backstabbed by Spy and don't get killed by Scout, but when you are open in the field you are already dead. Scout: Keep running unless you try to kill somebody, but keep moving a little. Spy: Try to keep hidden and take identities from other players. Soldier: *DO NOT ROCKET JUMP WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO* Demoman: *SAME FOR DEMO* Engineer: Keep your turret up and when it gets destroyed. . . *RUN* Medic: Keep people healed and don't die by Sniper, Spy, or Heavy. overtime is a 15 second timer that goes off when a team would win due to a timer reaching 0. in that time it is still possible to recapture your objective, however when a team that already had overtime captures the objective they will win immediately. at 2:40: red team's timer ran out(because they had the point) so they got overtime. your team manage to capture the point and also reach overtime. in _those_ 15 seconds the red enemy team managed to capture the point again, and since they already had overtime,, wo the game.

with spy, if you use your butterfly knife on enemies BACK, you can perform a "backstab" that allow you to instantly kill enemies, but it will remove your disguise

Btw I recommend playing as a Engineer when deffending and pyro or medic when attacking Reason: it's really easy to get the hang of it
