While fishing for it, we haul out an astonishing amount of scrap and rubbish contributing to the river's cleanup. 500,000 items of litter make their way into the sea from UK rivers every year, impacting on marine life The canals & rivers of England & Wales could be plastic-free in a year if every visitor picked up one piece of litter
Confronting climate change means we have to do more than change a few light bulbs, & it’s clear that current regulations aren’t cutting it, either. But what, exactly, can we do?
We can grab a bag & a magnet or grapple and go find this stuff, dispose of it responsibly making the environment better for future generations & the wildlife.The comments of support & donations keep us going but the real thanks is when we see the wildlife returning to an area we have cleaned.
We have dedicated ourselves to pulling tons of rubbish & scrap every week out of the environment
