I seriously miss the New Jack Swing sound. I grew up in the 80's and 90's and I still have to play my jams to this day. (there are some that were listed here that I didnt know) I wish the NJS would come back .. ok. Im being nostalgic. but I just love the innovation and creativity of Terry Riley and everyone associated with it.

Oh yes, the 90s were awesome! The New Jack Swing Era was introduced to me by a former friend of mine and I have never stopped listening to this timeless music. ❤❤❤❤

I was in high school when Guy came out but I followed Teddy and what ever he produced. I would to the record store for hours reading the credits on the back of CD's or 12' Maxi singles just to see who produced the songs. I still have all my CD's and just about own all of Teddy's songs and remixes he produced that was released. Timmy Gatling and Teddy Riley could have been just like Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and L.A. Reid & Babyface (I have all of their music too) as one of the top music producer and writer duos if they stayed together in that era. I think music from 1985-1995 was the highest quality of music especially in the R&B genre. Thanks for making this video.

In response to the guy who never understood why Guy had beef with New edition, I'm not really sure of the real reason either but their feud took a violent turn back in 1990 when they were in Pittsburgh PA when Guy's road manager was killed inside of the Civic Arena which was in Pittsburgh.
