They talked about this on a radio show in NY about a month after it aired. Charmaine said the show only airs 5-6 minutes for something that extended almost two hours. She said all of them were crying, including Ryan. Phor said Ryan sat and talked with him for over an hour and it was an emotional conversation for both of them. I think he asked her to leave because he was emotional and wanted to have a man to man talk with him.

PHOR get help!!! My childhood friend committed suicide 2 days before my birthday, 3years ago. Never once expected him to be dealing with depression. Until he killed him self. All the red flags was there. He was a good man that left a daughter behind. Everybody was quick to call him a coward, but I always say, cowards are the people who didn’t help him. I miss my friend every day, so watching this made me tear up. PHOR YOU’RE A GREAT MAN AND YOU NEED THE HELP!! SO PLEASE SEEK IT!! NOBODY IS PERFECT! It depends on the individual because I know some people it would make worse and other people it would give them more of a purpose and keep them busy, plus to be around their friends. Phor, without trying to, has let thousands know that they are not alone. That you can be on a popular reality show, have a career in hop that is taking off, and have money, can still be hurting and depressed. So, this episode is making followers and others to talk about a disease that is rarely talked about in the African American community. Also, I am really disappointed in the religious leaders who think prayers alone can get rid of mental Illness. They are some of the most hypocritical people I know and aren't fit to handle the complexity of mental illness. So, unless their a license therapist, they should STFU.........,

I’ve been dealing with severe anxiety and a depression for 2 years now. I’ve been on medication for a while and it really helps, but the true solution and remedy is time, patience, and strength. I totally relate to Phor and I hope that he gets better. He needs to be patient with himself and not put so much pressure on himself. My heart breaks for him. Don’t judge mental health until you’ve gone through it.... It’s a very serious thing.

He's so blessed to have his friends. I was alone in a house for 2 years attempting suicide every other week thank god i didn't have the balls to slit my wrist. But one day my kids seen me down and they really wanted and needed me here and so I picked myself up and tried to shift my focus and thinking day by day to get over. I finally did and i love myself. But life can beat you down and strip you naked emotionally and i can imagine me being exposed infront of the world like he is. Keep your head up you're never alone you always have self to keep you company if anything. P.s. I would love to cuddle with Charmain she looks so soft and motherly lol. #Louisianaladies

The last couple of mins of tonight's episode was _very_ poignant to me. I love this show. Don't care if they did wrong or right in their personal lives. Ryan, Van, Phor and Don (and my weakness Charmaine) all seem to have mad love for each other. I've experienced depression (not to this extent) and do know that you can rise above it: my way to drown it out is listening to music, and keeping my spirits up and positive. I'm surprised the cameras didn't go there like _other_ reality shows do. Much love and respect to Phor.

I've dealt with depression when I was in College. It was really hard..I just didn't want to be here (on this Earth). The only person that helped me was God. I cried myself to sleep that night.. didn't do anything. I woke up the next day and I felt better about myself. Depression is a serious disease..my cousin killed himself over this..last year in August. R.I.P. Cuz. To tell you the truth..it is nothing to play with. If you are suffering with Depression..Please get Help or talk to someone that can help you and be there for you..til that Depression melts away. This episode had me tears..cause I can relate to Phor's struggle. I hope he gets better and stronger everyday. Praying for you Phor.

I'm glad that they are airing this here now. This is soo important. A real issue that has been overlooked, especially in some communities such as African American, Latin, Asian communities. These issues need to be brought to the forefront so that we can start the healing process. If you know someone going through depressiom please talk to them about seeking help. It is crucial.

@@leas2527 yes, for all races BUT one that has been OVERLOOKED in some nationalities as opposed to others due to the stigma they have placed for centuries on mental illness. Which is beyond sad and heartbreaking because then the proper steps are not taken or avoided for healing.
