couldn't you put a layer of mod podge on the paint instead of the bond spray??? place photos on the mod podge canvas and then when dry and all bubbles out put another layer of the mod podge over the photos and canvas... would all of this work???

how do you get rid of streaks that show on the photos when you put the mod podge that happens to me.
@yolandabranner62009 жыл бұрын
Did you use regular photo paper or were your . Pictures printed on other type of paper. Really love your ideas
@MooreMooreLiving9 жыл бұрын
For this video, we used photo paper. But we have used regular paper that we printed with an inkjet. Just make sure to let it dry for 24 hours

What size pictures did you use. I assume they were 4x6?
@MooreMooreLiving9 жыл бұрын
Yes they were 4 inches by 6 inches. What could be fun is to mix different sizes of photos

Love this, the brush stroke idea is genius. Do you think Mod Podge would work over a poster without it wrinkling? Thanks for sharing the tutorial.
@MooreMooreLiving9 жыл бұрын
It might be best to first stuck the poster down to the canvas with some double sided tape. And then do a very light layer of Mod Podge on top of the poster to seal it. Once that dries, you can go back and add a second layer of you choose. Let us know how it goes!

Ok thanks for the suggestion.

Can you use the Mod Podge as the glue for the pics. ?

+Julie Dugan Yes, that is exactly what we used to glue the pictures down. Worked great!

Hello, this looks great. I am thinking of making one for my wedding, a picture canvas and have my guest sign around the picture. What is the spray you sprayed before placing the pictures??? And after the mod podge is brushed on will they still be able to sign it??? your response would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I used Elmer's Spray Craft Adhesive to mount the photos, then used decoupage to brush over the photos. Good luck with your project!

Can u list all your products on how to do that n were u can find them .. and also ... can you just leave the white stuff on.? Then doing the details.... ????

Loved it!! you are a very good teacher. I say "Modge Podge" too ever since I've known about the product in the 1980's. How would you clean something like this after it has been hanging a while? Also, can you use color laser prints since I have a Cannon color laser printer? Thanks!!! Awesome!!!
@MooreMooreLiving9 жыл бұрын
We use just a dry microfiber cloth on the piece. Anything wet may reactivate the glue. Laser prints would probably be better than ink jet since there is no ink to smear with a laser printer. Give it a try!
@MooreMooreLiving11 жыл бұрын
I used 16" x 20" canvases, Modge Podge Gloss, and Elmer's Spray Adhesive from Michael's. You can also find these at AC Moore, Pat Catan's, and Crafts 2000. The photos were taken in Israel and then printed from Shutterfly. The white stuff is the Modge Podge. It dries clear in about 30 minutes. You use the brush to do the detailing during the application of the Modge Podge. Just follow the lines of your photo

Did you have to pretreatment the photos? Or is the mod.podge photo paper safe?

I have a large burlap canvas. How do you think this will work on that medium?
@MooreMooreLiving9 жыл бұрын
With the larger thread of the burlap, the photos may not lay as nicely and blend with the fabric. Our canvas was primed duck canvas. If you try it with the burlap, let us know how it goes!
