I think I've commented before. But this is my dream job... I have literally no training but I have a sharp and artistic eye, constantly behind my camera and phone camera. But... I've never done anything with it. I don't even have social media. So, I want to, I NEED to make this my next career journey. I can't find any photography schools in my area, so these tutorials are going to be so helpful.

How are you making it magically select a specific part of the photo? Have you done something to the ballon/ chair photo beforehand?

Tatiana, it is so interesting to me that the darker layer looks greenish using color dodge. That swatch is apparently not true black, I tried with black, but it doesn’t work at all. Is that swatch a color you created?

Hello 😊 Thank you for the comment. That color is actually very very dark green. I always pick colors carefully, adjusting hue/saturation/brightness, it’s just not included in the video. I add color palettes in the tutorial bundle always, you can get it for free 😊

This feature works on the iPad Pros with the newest iOS version. If it still doesn't work after updating your iPad, you can crop the image the old way: import the photo into the canvas, select it with the selection tool and crop it

It didn't work on my regular iPad either. It worked on my iPad Pro. You can import the image select it manually & crop the balloon.

I'm having a hard time with the balloon photo. I was able to pull it up beside procreate, but as I tap on it, the balloon doesn't highlight for me to drag it over. What am I doing wrong?

Try to tap an hold on different places inside the balloon. It may take a few tries because the contrast between the background and the object is not significant. If it still doesn’t work, you can insert the image into Procreate and remove background using selection

I had the same issue and am using 1st generation apple pencil. Perhaps this might only work with the latest pencils.
