Thanks, yeah all of the water from waterfalls comes from the rain somewhere, so ironic that a waterfall day would get washed out from the rain!

Wow! You weren't kidding. Resica was a bit of a mess. Didn't look like that the last time I was there. However, Bushkill and Raymondskill looked really nice. Glad you still got some very nice shots.

Many of the waterfalls had tons of debris at the base. I guess the storms that came through early in the summer really took a toll on the area.

Great video Bill and Eric! This is really good photography content! I love that you emphasize : Planning! So vital. Beautiful pictures taken at each place! Perhaps you will travel in New Jersey and show places to take outdoor photography there and share your experience as you did in this video. Love your work guys!

Hey Bill & Eric, great photos. Can you please share the settings on your camera for the waterfall photos. Thanks

Thank you! We shoot waterfalls at ISO 100 and the aperture is usually f/8-f/16 or so, depending on what we want the shutter speed to be. Shutter speed should be about 2-3 seconds for smaller falls and 5-6 seconds for larger. But that can vary depending on how full the falls are.

Isn't the Z6MK2 waterproof? Going to let a little rain hold you back? Think of the possibilities! I think you guys just bailed for the smorgasbord 😱

I have no problem shooting in the rain but it was torrential horrible rain. Half of the rivers around us were coming over their banks and I couldn't imagine hiking in these parks where everything is flooded!

@@BillEricPhotography I wouldn't have been out there either if it was raining that much but I would find a good Amish buffet if it was within a 2 hour drive. Florida doesn't have much of that kind of eating by me. I love road trips into PA and upstate NY. The waterfalls look like nice road trips.

It's funny you mentioned that, we are actually in Lancaster right now shooting the farmlands. Plenty of good food here!

off topic... sort off! but should i get z6ii for wedding and events? its AMAZING overall, but people really bash on AF. I want your opinion on it. im still doing MORE research... or please suggest me a body with a lens or 2. budget is $2.5k usd.

The z62 is a very good camera but the autofocus is not quite as good as a DSLR. That being said I think it's definitely usable in a wedding situation. There are so many great features that it has that my DSLR didn't that I think once you learn the camera and understand how the autofocus modes work. It could be a really great camera for most situations
