Congrats on the awesome setup can I just asked a simple question after seeing the results I'll deal with the shiny spots on the pomegranate? Do you think it would be possible to use polarizing filter s on both the lights and the camera?

Yes, it's being worked on. I'm adding the polarized light to it. It requires some modifications to the way the lights are positioned right now.

@@sLv3rE85 Yes, there is. I'm excited to say it should be published soon. There is a lot of work still but it's nearing the end. Some new features include faster acquisition times, silent operation (as it was quite noisy) and polarized segmented light. Stay tuned, there will be updates soon.

what about light reflections? are those lights polarized?

Hi, there is a new design that will be published soon using cross polarization to remove hot spots.
