A few weeks ago I also took some photos of the Watch House at Lepe. Like you, I started on the eastern side, then walked to the western side. I set up my tripod on the rocks to take a long exposure, a couple of young women arrived and sat themselves right in front of the building. The little house at the start definitely has a nicer photographic path leading to it from the side of the 2nd photo and would also work with afternoon sun hitting it, and I'd say far better than the morning sun did in the first photo from the boring path side so it's a win win to be there to get an image like you did looking into it with sunburst or if like me prefer the late afternoon sun

Enjoyed watching this video. Dont know about the motorbike but mountain bike + camera now your talking. I'm currently looking to switch to a more compact mirror less camera, carrying a heavy DSLR when on a ride is a bit of a pain and i tend to leave the camera at home too often.

I have a Sony RX100 Mark VI that I like a lot. Full controls. Would be great on a mountain bike. Worth checking out.

Awesome bike, Triumph Thunderbird? I had the Legend version. That triple engine is so charismatic!. Unfortunately, it was the only bike I ever wrote off.
@MikeBrowne3 жыл бұрын
I love these T3 engines @ChromagraphPhotoArt. I bought a Legend new in 1999 and it's still my daily go-to bike. 120,000+ miles on it now. It'll be making an appearence in one of these Photo-Biker vids soon... Sorry you wrote your's off. Hope you were OK... MIKE

Great video Mike! Glad to see you out and about. What was the blend of coffee? Roasted nuts😂

Thanks Lee 🙏🙂 Luckily the trousers are insulated and waterproof or there would indeed have been some screaming and nut clutching... MIKE 🤣

You do realize that to an American like myself, although these houses are very beautiful and idyllic, they also evoke another reaction. Pretty much every British horror film we've seen from the past 75 years has taken place either in a quaint rural home similar to these, or large manor. Owing to this, when we see these little villages, we're thinking "Ah, how beautiful - probably haunted, though... Those are the kind of windows faces look in at..."

When I did a 1-2-1 with you we took photos of the house across the water but the lighting was very poor, the house wasn't lit and no reflection in the water. I can now see better how to turn an okay shot into something much better.

Hey Paul. How's it going buddy? Yep - light is everything and unless we're in a studio we can't control it - only work with what we have. Hope your well and things are good for you... MIKE 🙏😊

I hope you didn't scald any noble body parts with the coffee :-D. Although I am not a biker, I like this combination of riding and photographing very much. Thank you very much for this!
Being on continental Europe, the bike ride is terrifying! It is just so odd to see driving on the left side of the road - it is just not right... 😅
