I have a set ear me that has lost 3 badgers due to traffic. I have put camera trap out but I need to go and collect them to see how they’re doing?.nice video 👍

Thanks Jason! Sadly the majority of badgers loose their lives in traffic here as well. In my role as coordinator of the local badger group I have been involved in the creation of several fauna passages under busy roads... That was good to do.... Some setts finally had young. Before the adults were often dead before they were able to reproduce...

Over here in the Netherlands 1 out of 5 badgers are killed by traffic. In case it is a nursing mother, 2 to 4 badgers are killed in 1 strike. Tragic.
