Lovely video Jeroen and some great images. As a matter of interest, how many entrances does that sett have?

Just three. I do not think it is their main sett... I have been there four times since, and never saw them again...

I have a set ear me that has lost 3 badgers due to traffic. I have put camera trap out but I need to go and collect them to see how they’re doing?.nice video 👍
@weylintracking-worldwide4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jason! Sadly the majority of badgers loose their lives in traffic here as well. In my role as coordinator of the local badger group I have been involved in the creation of several fauna passages under busy roads... That was good to do.... Some setts finally had young. Before the adults were often dead before they were able to reproduce...

Over here in the Netherlands 1 out of 5 badgers are killed by traffic. In case it is a nursing mother, 2 to 4 badgers are killed in 1 strike. Tragic.
