Just up the road from me, a great place on its day. The Cormorant images are super sharp.

Hi Darrell. Lovely photos of the Wren and the Cormorant, the feather detail is amazing. Have a safe journey to Inverness. Thanks Jon and Sandra

Thanks. Glad you liked the video. The course was two weekends ago so I got up and back safely. Next week I will be going over how it affected me.

Always nice to see a video of my local patch. A shame there wasn’t much around. For anyone thinking of visiting, there are quieter times of the year on the wetland. Since this video the wetland has been redeveloped slightly and spring passage brought in some large numbers of waders and also a red necked phalarope and now starting to see birding autumn bring in our over wintering green sandpipers, snipe, curlew lapwing and passage greenshank and common and little ring plover. Hope you have another chance to drop in Darrell when there’s more birds around.

Thanks. I enjoyed my visit. Since this video I have had an electric car and Glasgow is a little far for a day visit.

What great bird images you are getting from the Nikon Z8 - beautiful sharp shots!

I am really liking the Z8 particularly the eye tracking it is a real game changer for me.

I didn't realize that you had Black-billed Magpies on your side of the pond. They are quite the hooligans.

In Europe we have the Eurasian magpie, which IS very similar to the black billed

It looks a good place for photography, nice photos. We belong to the RSPB as well as our local wildlife trust. I do wish more wildlife reserves would put dead trees or branches in the water close to hides, to encourage birds to perch. Otherwise some reserves can become very sterile environments.

I enjoyed my visit. The cormorant on the Clyde was the highlight.

What lens did you use on your Nikon z8 Darrell, I have the Sigma 150 - 600mm and dying to use it on my Nikon D7200. Could i get shots almost as good as yours?
@DarrellOakdenPhotography4 ай бұрын
It had the 100-400mm for this shoot. I am not familiar with your lens, but it should be alright.
