What a cracking video and the images were amazing! I think it really goes to show the benefits of having a paid hide, where you are put in a situation of being THAT close to some fantastic wildlife. Nice one mate, pleasure to watch!

Great video Ryan, super images and videos of the wildlife encountered. The buzzard encountered must have been awesome. I fully agree, they are worth the money, I always enjoy the experience

I was cycling round Rendlesham in the summer and I heard what I thought was a kestrel, not very far away was a perched Hobby, didn't have my camera blast, cycled 20 mins back to the car and back and it was still in the same conifer tree, got some amazing photos of it, also about a month ago we had an Osprey fishing out of thorpness mere near aldeburgh I got unlimited photos and video of it, bit unreal still coming down from that, Suffolk is great hope to see you at Minsmere one day👍

Beautyful shots of the buzzard! Aspecialy those on that rock was stunning! Glad to see what the A7iv with the 200-600 is capable of since I have the same set. Was in a simular hide in Norway with buzzards and hawks with the Olympus OM1~3oommF4 and the 40-150mm F2,8 which is not so good on video.. but I got some great photo's do. exactly the same feeling as you after shooting shorebirds and gardenbirds for years and then you suddenly have the buzzard up so close. Realy enjoyed your video! All the best from Norway. 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping and commenting! Yeah I love the Sony A7iv and the 200-600mm, they are a fantastic combo that hasn't let me down yet! Yeah it's a great feeling when you see something so amazing! It just makes me want to discover more and more!

Great, love the moments of exhilaration! What encouraged the buzzard to land there of all places?
@RyanswildlifephotographyКүн бұрын
Thanks !!! It totally was awe inspiring. I honestly have no idea, about the branch, was totally random. Around the front by the rock there was some food placed out for the Buzzard but he didn't land there until later in the morning!

Looks like a great day....still not sure about the buzzard facing away from the negative space 😂
@RyanswildlifephotographyКүн бұрын
Hahaha it totally was !!!! Yeah its composition right which is always subjective to the individual and fundamentally what the person behind the camera is trying to tell at the time. Normally the rule of thumb you hear of is having the subject facing into the negative space as a "Your going that way" kind of vibe, birds in flight for example. For me what I wanted to convey here was the complete opposite. The Buzzard was completely alone, vulnerable and in my mind it kind of just felt "sad". Hence the edit and the negative space fitting that.
