WOW! Not only did you get the shot, but you knocked it right out of the boundary Ash. Fantastic capture and a hard earned one! Your greatest asset is the respect you have for your subjects & their environment they are in, and it is showing in your results. It has been an absolute pleasure to follow you on your journey into wildlife photography through this channel my friend. Thank you for taking us all along with you! 💯👏👏👍

Great video and that last image is one to cherish. I was up on the 12th of March for my first ever attempt to get the mountain hares, unfortunately not a great deal of snow but plenty of obliging hares and to my surprise a SEO hankered down amongst the heather. Beautiful valley to walk, and i will return next year.

Hi John many thanks for your comment, yes there's not been a lot of snow up there really this year very sparse, yes there are a couple of hares in that Valley that are quite tame, and allow you to get quite close. I did hear that the was an SEO cited in the valley but I did not see it when I was there. Hope you managed to get some great photos , all the best. 👍

You are brave to leave your camera bag. Sadly, here in the U.S., it probably wouldn’t be there when you got back. Beautiful video and excellent images. Thanks for sharing!!

Hi Trish yeah i did think about that, but then there are not a lot of people around, and I am sure i could catch up with a thief carrying my heavy bag lol. 😜👍

The 'snow burrow' image topped off a most fantastic film. Beautifully filmed from start to finish. It captured the adventure, wild as it was in the beginning, and took us on an experience to want to relive over and over. BTW that 'generative fill' example was truly amazing, especially as the portrait was on a slope and the landscape was flat. Beautifully done, Ashley.

Really enjoyed the video and your images, especially the video of the hare cleaning. Before going ahead with the car key safe, I’d strongly recommend you check if it makes it vulnerable to theft. I only need to have the keys in my pocket and I can open doors and start the engine. Looking forward to Dans video experience there too.

Hi Trevor many thanks for the comments, glad you enjoyed the video, yeh good point about the car key being close to the car, but I suppose if it is a Faraday Pouch it should be ok, I think. 👍😜

Your videos are getting better and better... keep going, and well done. Great you caught Dan... though meeting other photographers on location is a double edged sword for wildlife photographers... disturbs the wildlife sometimes... hope it didn't for you! lol

Cheers Clive thanks for the comment, no if there are other photographers around I generally just move off, and go elsewhere, prefer being alone photographing most of the time, but on this occasion it was fine, I was just looking for additional images nothing special on this occasion. 😀👍

Another great video that snow and wind, I felt bloody cold just watching this. Can I ask do you have some ex special forces hardarse background cause we often see you out and about in these videos, and I can't help wandering 😅

Hah lol cheers for the comment @peterosborne9802, not really, tried to get in but they would not have me lol 😂 , so i went climbing instead, I have been rock climbing and ice climbing around the world and climbed a few big mountains the biggest being Aconcagua in Argentina 6,961m, etc, I think it is just nice to get out into the wild to photograph and find the wildlife, along with having mini adventures along the way. 👍😂
