I love the format….meeting people working in a camera shop is the best. Everything feels more natural when you are, simply, having a conversation. Enjoyed the episode.

Lovely format, it flows naturally when Kon has someone to talk with.

Great live stream, [I can never seem to be free so always watch on catch up] Steve is a gentleman and some fantastic knowledge, he also sold me my Z8 last December. Keep up the good work Kon.

Good to be able to put a face to a name. Steve, thanks for your recommendation and suppyling the type C screen for my Nikon F4S. Worked a treat on my 800mm / TC-301 combination. Hope Kon and Gray continue with their History of Nikon series and I'd be happy to see a video dedicated to David Douglas Duncan if Gray is still willing to undertake that one.🙂

This was an interesting discussion with Steve Lamb who is obviously a good photographer as well as knowing the technical stuff. I must say I hadn't thought about the requirements for storing photo gear, so I must do so! My favourite lens is the 24-120mm which I find superb at all focal lengths on my Z7-11, beautifully sharp and an excellent all-round lens. On a possibly frivolous note, what is this modern fad of spelling adviser as advisOr? I was an Adviser, working for various education authorities for many years, happily using the English spelling!

Sorry I missed this live. I did enjoy Steve. With regard to mirrorless I will say one of the biggest reasons I prefer the EVF is because my eyesight is not great, especially up close, but with the diopter adjustment I can use the viewfinder just fine for all camera actions including menu settings. On my DSLR I had to continually put on reading glasses to make adjustments that required the back screen and then take them off again to look through viewfinder or just view the scene. It was highly annoying.

I miss one live chat and you get a chap on who has the same camera and lens’s. Z9 and 400/4.5 - I recently got the 1.4 TC, I use the combo mostly for bird photography. I also have the 50mm 1.4 D for my D810.

My apologies to Steve for forgetting his name, it is doubly regrettable as my only brother is called Steve!
