There are so few professional photographers (and not professional youtubers) that explain their mind, their process and their methods with a same passion and gentleman manner as You do. Respect for that style of presentation where the gear ain't the purpose, but the result (even when You do have so many fancy cameras like in the "Route 66" video). It really is so refreshing to see someone to value exactly the quality of photo and the location, not the gear for itself. As your style really shows it is the photographer who does the work, not the gear.

Nick another enjoyable and entertaining video of our beautiful California Desert. I first traveled the Mojave Road back in 1986 shortly after it opened. By being opened after Friends of Mojave with leadership by Dennis Casebier (sp) mapped out the trail and erected carins at the various cross roads. The road or trail gets lots of usage, but what beautiful scenery along the way. Thank you for sharing your video, excellent.

Great work Nick - and thanks for sharing even when the light is not "epic" and how you were still able to pull out some great shots! Do you carry multiple 617 film backs? Those can get expensive... like everything photography related!
@nickcarverphoto8 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I only carry one 6x17 back. The weight and the expense makes carrying multiple backs a pain. And since a roll of film is only 4 exposures, I figure it's not too much work to finish off a roll if I want to change films.
