Very nice studio tour video. Capture one is definitely an asset to tethering, but I disagree with you about getting it right in camera and relying on capture one. I shoot studio and outdoors and I always strive to take a couple minutes to set my white balance and check my histogram for exposure, and check my focus etc. It does not take anytime at all . Having said that I admit I came from a film background & I have been shooting for 40 + years. I don’t rely on a software or any program to fix my settings for a shoot. I acknowledge we can have different approaches & that I am a dinosaur… lol!😂 Having said all that I do love technology and edit for several photogs. It is great to have options❤ Again a very nice studio tour! You should do a follow up studio tour now that it has been 3 years and give your lessons learned snd your favorite set ups now. I know creatively we all evolve so it would be cool to see!

Great sensible videos man! Love your approach and list of lighting setups. I actually just laid down on the 7foot umbrella setup - thanks ;)

Hello, I am building a small photo studio, 15'x16'x8' I want to paint everything in matt...white maybe a wall in gray, and the floor is bright gray vinyl. My question is how many walls to paint in gray? I will be doing small family portraits, planning to have 9' x3 rolls of seamless paper mounted on one wall. Potentially around holidays to have some holiday 2 or 3 backdrops in...also which lights do you recommend?

Ideally you want everything painted white, I like the godox sk 400 for cheapest light that works.

Manfrotto mega boom, wind up and broncolor para just for "i dont use it often or at all" while he has most cheap godox lights - what im even looking at - still dont compute. Most weird capital allocation seen in studio so far...

It would be nice if you took the camera off your face and actually showed us your impressive studio.
