Come join me as I shoot some ruins in southern Colorado. Today I talk a little about finding my exposure and thinking about my processing of the film. Next week I will be doing a video about the processing of the film, so come back next week for that video.
A BIG Shout out to Dr. Benjamin Kam M.D. who did a full knee replacement on me last month. I was up and walking around in no time. The staff at the hospital was fantastic.

What red filter did you use? I use +2 1/2 stops for a deep red #25 filter on Ilford FP 4 Plus film. You mentioned giving it an extra 1 stop.

You are right. What was I thinking, always add 2 stops to your exposure. Whoops, I will mention that in my next video.. But I did cover myself by having the extra sheets 1 stop more exposure. The negative came out great, but I want to go back and reshoot it. Thanks!!

Yes, a No25 Red usually is a two stop compensation, in my experience shooting 4x5 and 8x10 film on view cameras.
