Photography Trip somewhere in southern Colorado, shooting a fence post, in B/W, on the 4x5 camera.

We are in southern Colorado shooting an old fence post. It is one of my subjects I like to shoot. Old wooden fence post has a lot of caricature to them, with lots of detail in the wood. They make great subjects to photograph.

The images turned out great! I'm trying to learn 4x5, I have a Intrepid and three lens, just feels like a steep mountain to climb to get proficient

Thanks!!! I have been shooting this camera, or the same model, since 1985, shooting all of my commercial work. After working with it for a couple times, you will get the system down pat and make it enjoyable again. But have fun doing it!!

Just discovered your channel. I am a 4x5 shooter. I have that exact camera but rarely use it because of the weight. Just use it for studio work. I use a Chamonix 4x5 for the field. Thanks for a channel that isn't about gear. Cheers.

Thanks. I did a lot of studio work on this camera before digital camera took over my studio work. Now just use it for B/W photography.
