you can skip the whole first part by printing a right reading(i think) positive and use it to develop your plate.

Yes, but ultimately you get better results if the ink it up against the PPP (photopolymer plate). This allows less light in, from the thickness of the transparency film. This is why it is done this way. It is probably negligible but again, I show the best way to get the absolute best results.

Is there any reason not to just print your own transparencies? You can get transparency sheets for both ink-jet and laser printers.

TechSupport100 It very much depends on the printers ability to create enough ink density. Some do, some don't.

Jan F If you run into that problem, you can stack transparencies - two will usually do it. Just line 'em up carefully and tape them together.

@malithpramoda It is called Developer. I'm not certain of the exact contents. I believe they are proprietary. However there is an MSDS for those that purchase and request it with the purchase. Thanks!

lanetxgp1: You will get better results if you are always putting emulsion or ink face down on the TNF or PPP. This is why it was printed in reverse and then flipped over so you could read the words face up. The least amount of light and space you have between the letters, the better the results because there is no UV light that leaks on the edges during processing.
