That little bit of money you get for being an armed guard isn't worth it, and it is usually X cops that were let go for some reason and the types of guys that want to be cops but could not pass the exams.

I worked as a unarmed guard before, and the armed places pay like 2 bucks more per hour. Many unarmed guards are lazy, not smart, or dont want to be in more dangerous posts so they stay where they are. It pays a little over minnimum wage, and dont have to do hard labor. 99% of the time its quiet. The armed guards, some do it for the extra pay, but its a worlds away from being a cop in terms of training and having the right credentials. If i went back in time i would have never been a guard, there were times where i had to argue with normal people, homeless, and i could have gotten stabbed or shot.

I used to live in that area and went to this Target regularly. I think they may close this location? It’s daily that security deals with homeless thieves and stopping the mentally ill/drug addicts from entering. I’ve seen it every time I went there. It is getting worse there.
