You can identify three points on the ground that are present in all three shots that are similar, and after tracking them, you can right-click on those points and choose Set groundplane and origin point. This will reduce your work of moving each model individually.

I love this. I would LOVE to see you guys do compositing like this in DaVinci though. Some of us super newbie and low budget film makers can afford subscription services like Adobe and I love DaVinci for everything else.

I totally get this I just left adobe because it was so expensive to Davinci and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of vfx stuff geared towards it.

Just a tip - when you are photoscanning, you need a LOT of images. Don't just do one each high, low, and middle pass, do a few. Then get any additional images for areas you think will need more detail.

I've found that this is true sometimes. It has depended on what I'm scanning. Some scans break with too many images and I needed to scale back, some have gotten infinitely better with more detailed additional images. With Polycam and these types of scans, I've gotten the best success with somewhere in the middle of the two.

texture generation at Polycam sucks - really bad textures, no PBR. Funny thing is try to throw "PBR texture set of ground without moss" at it and it'll generate unrealistic ground textures with moss patches. Yeah, thank you Genie. All that AI stuff is just lame hype, completely worthless
