I have watched so many of these new adjustment tool videos and this is the first one that really did not belittle the fact that not all of us are photoshop specialists but rather simple photographers that want to make our photos look just a little better. Thank you

You are an amazingly good instructor. You teach us new tools and techniques in easy to follow steps. Thanks

VERY nicely done. You were prepared, focused, concise, very clear, and did a great job job of presenting options. This was a very good use of my time and I really appreciate you respecting your audience and me personally. I'm going to go look at the rest of your channel - you might be my new go-to for PhotoShop. I am still learning and have found there are lots of PS videos on KZbin, but very few good ones that actually help me get things done. THANK YOU!

Great vid and a good illustration of how the new brush works. As smooth as the Select Subject and copy-the-mask methods are, though, I've always found that the best way to apply multiple adjustments to a masked area is to Group the first adjustment with itself, move the mask (not copy) to the Group and then add the additional adjustments inside the group. That way there is only one mask to fix/adjust when/if you find an flaw or make some other change to the image that requires a change in the mask.

How long have you been shooting? would love to look at your work? Work like this can help to keep the mind sharp !!! 👍👍

Very helpful. The tool is sorta mis-named, it's not really a brush in the truest sense, that's where I was making my mistake. Thanks for the tutorial.

Thank you for showing smarter ways to use this new tool. While it's similar to what we can manually do for 'adjustments', I think this tool can reduce no. of steps to get there.

you mentioned the latest version I get confused on the versioning In my creative cloud, I see 3 photoshops Currently I see 24.7.4 25.9 Beta 25.10 Any help you can provide in explaining the differences would be appreciated
@sounderdavis54467 ай бұрын
25.9 is at this posting the latest official release. 25.10 is a beta, testing release that subscribers can try out if they're curious what's in the pipeline. It has a few new features but may be a bit less stable. Both 25.9 and 25.10 have this new Adjustment Brush Anthony demonstrates here, while the older 24.7.4 does not. I can't link you here in comments but you can search KZbin or the web for feature differences, as there are many videos and webpages covering it.

There is nothing new about this "tool." It's basically a paint brush with a macro at the front end that creates an adjustment layer with a mask. Am I missing something?
@antoninsvrdlik75267 ай бұрын
No, you aren't 👍

Just state option for Mac and alt for windows once and save a ton of repeats. The books are full of this crap, no idea why.
@ennykraft5 ай бұрын
This new tool didn't add any new features. It's just making Photophop more like Photoshop Elements. Besides the AI tools, it's been years since we got anything that's really new. Combined with Adobe's highly questionable ideas about what they can use from the users' contents and the price, it's no wonder people are switching to other apps.
@andrewbrown67867 ай бұрын
Yes - it’s the ‘Adobe owns everything you produce on any of their software!’ 🤬
@danielmonge23186 ай бұрын
Gosh... That tool is such a waste of space. Instead of adding the adjustment layer you use a brush. Oh well... Photoshop was always famous for having 10 different ways to do the exact same thing. At least they are consistent smh
