don't worry it'll only take 9 years xD. or at least that's how long slop has been doing art now. but honestly you can prob learn digital art in a year tops if u do it consistently. 3 months for anatomy, 3 months for composition, 1-2 months learning shadows (ambient lighting, rim light, highlights so forth included in this one) and that would prob be all you need. Any extra stuff like learning tools in the art program or learning how to blend wouldn't take you that long so yea you can def do it if you tried and kept up with it. Gl tho Also I know u posted this 11 months ago but I only realized it after I typed this out and ill be damned if I erase this and waste 1 minute of my day when I got university readings due tomorrow key

yeah I know that :) and the way he masters the pieces is amazing but in the last 2-3 illustrations he had more struggle than before. Don't get me wrong I really love his art and I am painting also. He does a great job on every painting. But I wouldn't mentioned that if it's were getting better.

Moorboor That's the point? Do you know how much alteration and perfecting digital art takes? The unique struggle of attempting to perfect every detail is possible only on digital because you can edit all you want. If WLOP wasn't struggling I'd be wondering what the fuck sort of amateur bullshit they're pulling. If it's not a struggle it's called a doodle.

easy you would only need : -photoshop -a drawing tablet -and god's grace

what WLOP uses is probably a Wacom cintiq which costs thousands. so if u wanna start off digitally then buy a cheaper one. go check reviews on which is better. don't start big if u cant even draw properly yet. or if u wanna start traditionally then digitally is also good. since every artist starts off with a pencil and paper

Actually this is his style. He purposely left out some part that are less detailed so that you could focus more on the detailed parts like her face, etc. It's just his style of painting, and I absolutely love it, it's so unique.
