To activate GLASS FILTER. Go to your Preferences dialog on Mac by choosing Photoshop > Preferences (on PC select Edit > Preferences). Click the Plug-Ins group of preferences and locate and select the checkbox for” Show all Filter Gallery groups and names” and click Ok.

Thank you. I didn't have the glass filter option. It took me a minute. LOL I had to find the filters first and turn them on so they would appear. I didn't have the glass filter. If you are having the same problem, Click edit, scroll down to the bottom and click on preference, click on plugins, check off show all filter galaxy groups and reboot PS. I had to reboot a couple times but it did work.

Glad it was helpful! If you are working on PC these filters can be found in Filter>>Filter Gallery>>Then down to the Distort Folder. The glass filters is in that folder.

Go to Filter>>Distort>>Glass this will open up the filter gallery with the glass options. You can also to directly into the filter gallery Filter>>Filter Gallery then choose the Distort folder and glass should be the second or third option.

Xe'Nia This is only available on The MAC version ( I’m assuming) it’s not available on the 2018 version I have on my PC. I didn’t know that when I made the tutorial. Sorry about the confusion.

Great video as always. Easy to follow, great results. I would like to know how I can reduce the size of my file without losing quality. The smallest I can get is 8 Mb using Save As instead of Exporting. Is that a good idea or not? Thank you!

It depends on your printer. If you’re sending out to be printed check the website for what they recommend. If you’re printing at home with a CMYK printer you should change the color settings to match.

On your keyboard press Ctrl/command+ and tick the box that says “show transform controls” if this doesn’t help you may have to reset - Go to Photoshop > Preferences > General >Reset Preferences on Quit then restart Photoshop. This will also reset your brushes and patterns.

Thank you for clarifying this for others. I’ve heard this from a few people. I think most people find it easier to go into the filter gallery and find it there. I’ll keep that in mind for next time. From the filter menu it’s under “Distort” sorry for the confusion :-/

If you're on a Mac go to Photoshop > Preferences (on PC select Edit > Preferences). Select Plug-Ins at the top of the plugin's menu select the checkbox for” Show all Filter Gallery groups and names” and click Ok. Now, you should find glass under the Distort menu under filters. If not, you can always get to glass from the filter gallery.

Wow, your processor got a good workout! 😀 36000x36000 is still a very large file though, 3600x3600 is a 12x12 inch this is a good size for most applications.

I saved the foil as a pattern then made a circle shape and filled it with the pattern using blending options. You can also add it to a circle using a clipping mask.

I love the way you do your tutorials and I wanted to follow this one but right in the beginning where you go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds, my Render is not accessible and I have no idea why. SOLUTION: I checked my page size and found I had it on 3600 X 3600mm and not pixels. As soon as I changed that it worked.

Check your export settings, color, type, resolution, etc. it should export as you designed it unless the export settings are causing it to save at a lower resolution or with restricted colors.
