thank you for this tutorial! It was great... you go slower enough for me to follow along and explain each step. I have a question about our very last step when we want to play around with the gradient. When I select my gradient, there are folders with different colors listed (ie pinks, blues, purples etc.) and I don't have the presets that you have. I'm guessing this is a 2021 update? But I don't know how to get around that so I can get blending colors the way you did. Hope you have time to help. Thank you!!

The color folders is just how I set up my gradients, yours will not look like mine. In the video I believe I used only Photoshop default gradients. If not, I show you how to make it. What version of Photoshop are you working in? Maybe I can help you get your defaults.

Yes, you can add it as a clipping mask to a blank layer, when you paint your strokes will reveal the pattern.

Hello! I have a logo that I want to make the silhouette in a glitter form. I have been not having luck with basic glitter backgrounds. Do you think these may work to give me a clean crisp glitter silhouette?

I’m not sure I understand it a couple things you can try are 1. Add the glitter texture as a clipping mask (right click on the glitter layer and chops “create clipping mask”) 2. Work with layer modes, clip the glitter texture and change the layer mode so that only the glitter is visible. Multiply, screen, or overlay work well.

I can’t find the legacy brushes ;-; nor do I see brush settings. It just says brush and I can change the tip shape, tip dynamics, scatter, color dynamics, and transfer

Select the white color in your main color at the bottom left instead of yellow.

@@mandynelson4073 Make sure at the top your opacity is on 100% and flow 100% and mode Multiply. I was having the same issues and changed those setings and now looks bright.

Same. When I used grain it didn't have any white on, even though it was the bottom colour. I tried swapping it to see if it was being silly but it still stayed yellow.

Make sure you are working in RGB in 8bit

Make sure you are in RGB mode in 8 bit filters may not work in 16/32bit and will not work in CMYK
